how come there's no 4 sided saber? like at 90 degrees to one anther or it the chape of an 'X' with one 2 angles less than 90 or whatever...

makes combat sooooooo much harder for a single-blade saber holder as long as u learn how to not kill urself by accident...

saber throw would be cool

exar kun was a sith. Luke is the most powerful jedi so far

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

If Luke had played JKII he would have been considered as a newbie. The young boy has only half the power of the good jedis, like Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu and Count Dooku.

I hear a lot of crap about Yoda whupping Dooku

I know that he ran away but....

during the fight, I didn't see Yoda landing any hits, nor did Dooku, but my point is where exactly does Yoda own Dooku,

sure he moves really fast but that doesn't mean he owns

Then obviously you never saw the scene that was cut (it was gonna be instead of the fight we know of), however Yoda does say "Fought well you have, my old Padawan". By putting it in the past tense, that means that Dooku was gonna buy the next move.

Also, the only reason Luke sucks as a fencer is because he never did learn how to fence. Yoda encouraged him to use the living force instead of the killer instinct. Thats where they went wrong with Anakin (Anakin was the one training heavy fencing). So with time (after the new republic formed) Luke probably did learn everything he needed to learn about fencing, and that would make him one of the stronger Jedi. With aditional time (oh let's say 100-300 years more) he would even probably surpass Yoda.

Basically in the time frame that we know of, Yoda IS the strongest character (stating that while not knowing Palpy's powers, however somehow I doubt they are stronger).

You all seem to be using powerful in the context of strength and who is better with a lightsaber. And you all seem to be judging by episode 2 for anakin. and ROTJ for luke. I don't think we've seen what anakin is capable of as of yet and I don't think you can judge the lightsaber battles of anyone in the OT. And anyways Vader went easy on luke I believe because he was his son.

There was also a comment made about anakins lightsaber ability rivaling that of yoda's to which obi-wan replied a yeah right sort of thing. but that still intimates that he'S pretty damn close and in time he will learn to not be so naive in battle.

I think i you judge in force and lightsaber ability as a whole Vader would win, He even proves so by wiping out the majority of the remaining Jedi.

A sith is just a dark jedi. They still count.

I'm gonna have to go with Zindell here. Not only does Anakin bring about the end of the Jedi order; but as far as connection to the force goes, with respect to Yoda, Anakin does have the highest medichlorian count on record, "higher than even Master Yoda". And logic only dictates that since Luke's parents are Anakin (a force sensitive) and Padme (a non-force sensitve), then lukes power has to be at least a little more diluted than his father's. Not to mention, Luke only beat Vader because Vader was 45 and made of more than half machinery (and he went easy on Luke).

Not that I'm like "whoo, sith are cool", but Anakin's gotta be the most powerful Jedi.

2 things ...... luke IS more powerfull than vader its just hes barely trained even by rotj and hes doing all the learning himself rather than strict training regimes perfected over centuries

secondly sith arent just dark jedi sith is a whole different force religion ... a dark jedi and a sith are 2 different things

admittedly alot of dark jedi turn to the sith arts but not always

oh and corron horn is not a particularly strong jedi ... hes average ... he has his strengths (mind control and absorbtion of nrg) but he has big weaknesses 2 (moving stuff)

its in the original trilogy somewhere

or possibly implied when the emp. treats him as a threat ... if he can overthrow cos n anakin hes gotta be powerful

also y would cos want luke as apprentice if anakin is better?

just the impression i get that luke is more powerful
