Sidious Saber?

I dunno about the sidious lightsaber thing...he seems a bit old and decrepid to be able to wield one. On the other hand, I would like to see some variation in the blade of a lightsaber, perhaps used by some lesser jedi/sith hwo has a radically different style or something. I'm thinking lightaxe :)

He used the cane and limp because he IS old...over 850 years of age. The reason he limps is because he doesn't use the force constantly for everyday things.

You've got it all wrong. Yoda has to use a cane at all times unless he's in complete connection with the Force like in battle mode, or however you like to phrase it.

Sidious in ROTJ, however, DOESN'T need a cane. He uses it just to look weak to his opponents. And it's not just my opinion, it says so in the SW Visual Dictionary. 'Sides, in Episode III, he's going to walk normally because it's only a couple of years from AOTC.

So, Yoda is weak and decrepit, needs a cane.

Sidious, not nearly as bad shape, just ugly with all the Dark Side usage. No cane needed, just psychological or strategic purpose.

Ya next thing you know the sky will be falling, and youll see the U.S.S. Enterprise in EP III.

Then we'll find out the startling secret that Sidious is really Spock who is paving a way for a Star Trek invasion. The Enterprise then conquers the Galaxy by boring it to death.

Star Trek is HORRIBLE methinks. Isimply donot like it atall. It's horribly boring....

"mr spock, i see a blip on the radar that could mean that the quantum fluctuations of the borgs transcendence machines have created a googly eyed fish monster!"

"ACK! prepare the torpedo bay"

"Sir, we have no torpedos..."

"(insert technical mumbo jumbo here)"

"Sir they are firing at us"

"Hmmm it might mean they are indicating that a flux perimiter exists within the walls of this solar system"

"Prepare to fire some warning shots"

"SIR! they have borded the ship."

"OK then set phazers to stun"

"Yes sir:rolleyes: "

Sidious is obviously played by Christopher Lee, but without looking at CL previous movies, Sidious the SW character not the actor, looks like Dracula.

The dark Jedi clothing, and specially the cloak make Sidious look like a Vampire/Dracula, the man looks more like a evil demon sorcerror then a Jedi.

Sidious' saber is looks to me like a Arabic Sword, because of the curving on the saber handle.

Still sidious lived this episode, so that he can come back for a greater battle, and more fighting sequences.

Its a shame Darth Maul never live to fight a greater battle, I loved to see that, as a Double Lightsaber is the best GL did in his new SW episodes.

Christopher Lee plays Count Dooku. I think you meant Ian McDiarmid.
