shidobu
I dunno about the sidious lightsaber thing...he seems a bit old and decrepid to be able to wield one. On the other hand, I would like to see some variation in the blade of a lightsaber, perhaps used by some lesser jedi/sith hwo has a radically different style or something. I'm thinking lightaxe
ET Warrior
Yoda seems kinda old and decrepid as well...much moreso than palpatine, i mean, palpy walks with no can and no limp. I would be appalled to see anything but a straight bladed saber....but that's just my personal opinion......
Kyle d'Tana
Yeah, but yoda used the limp and the stick for make pplz think hes old and not really good in fighting! that makes him a great enemy.....
covenant_bad
how would that sabre turn on? It would go out straight for a bit then sparadically bent 20degrees?
Darth Kaan
We haven't seen him with a saber yet?!?!?!? sorry, i really couldn't resist.....such an obvious statement...sort of like if i said well....Han Solo flies the millenium falcon......... Wow, you have such an uncany grasp of the obvious. Hopefully you only use your mental powers for good........

He used the cane and limp because he IS old...over 850 years of age. The reason he limps is because he doesn't use the force constantly for everyday things. Shadow Angel
Originally posted by Kyle d'Tana Yeah, but yoda used the limp and the stick for make pplz think hes old and not really good in fighting! that makes him a great enemy..... You've got it all wrong. Yoda has to use a cane at all times unless he's in complete connection with the Force like in battle mode, or however you like to phrase it. Sidious in ROTJ, however, DOESN'T need a cane. He uses it just to look weak to his opponents. And it's not just my opinion, it says so in the SW Visual Dictionary. 'Sides, in Episode III, he's going to walk normally because it's only a couple of years from AOTC. So, Yoda is weak and decrepit, needs a cane. Sidious, not nearly as bad shape, just ugly with all the Dark Side usage. No cane needed, just psychological or strategic purpose.
Legacy_Of_Sith
Nah, I think he uses his cane to beat down one of his apprentices if they ever back talk to him.

Legacy_Of_Sith
Actually, Star Trek's not all that bad IMO, but it can't hold a candle to SW!
ET Warrior
Star Trek is HORRIBLE methinks. Isimply donot like it atall. It's horribly boring.... "mr spock, i see a blip on the radar that could mean that the quantum fluctuations of the borgs transcendence machines have created a googly eyed fish monster!" "ACK! prepare the torpedo bay" "Sir, we have no torpedos..." "(insert technical mumbo jumbo here)"
MotionMan
"Sir they are firing at us" "Hmmm it might mean they are indicating that a flux perimiter exists within the walls of this solar system" "Prepare to fire some warning shots" "SIR! they have borded the ship." "OK then set phazers to stun" "Yes sir:rolleyes: "
fernandotabet
Sidious WILL fight. yoda fought in EPII, so would be unfair to let the sith master without any nice fighting sequence. Well, somehow, I think that Sidious doesn't look OK with a lightsaber. Maybe he should fight with just jedi powers...
mez1109
Sidious is obviously played by Christopher Lee, but without looking at CL previous movies, Sidious the SW character not the actor, looks like Dracula. The dark Jedi clothing, and specially the cloak make Sidious look like a Vampire/Dracula, the man looks more like a evil demon sorcerror then a Jedi. Sidious' saber is looks to me like a Arabic Sword, because of the curving on the saber handle. Still sidious lived this episode, so that he can come back for a greater battle, and more fighting sequences. Its a shame Darth Maul never live to fight a greater battle, I loved to see that, as a Double Lightsaber is the best GL did in his new SW episodes. ET Warrior
I think he means Dooku, not Sideous, as he mentions a curved saber HANDLE, and since he commented on how he lived through this one.........
