I think this the last try: Ian Webster

It's hard to tell when a topic has ended these day since you don't visit that often.

Back to topic. I haven't ordered the books yet. But once I have the question will be: Invisible Monsters or Choke first? Why is it so bad to start IM soon after S?

Ian Hurley? You did reveal your name on the old forums, but we all promptly forgot it.

I'm selling some of my stuff because I'm moving, and I think I'll say goodbye to my precious Fight Club poster. I'd like it if I could pass it on to another true fan, for $20 bucks of course. It's gigantic...about 44 x 35 inches, and it comes in 4 pieces. It's one of a kind, and it's been very close to me. I'll post a pic of it if anyone's interested.

As you can see from the size of my brown leather velcro Converse All Stars.......this poster is fucking huge.

Let me know if you have any hotlinking errors when trying to view these files...but copying and pasting into your address bar should do the trick.

Chuck Palahniuk was on Haight Street yesterday doing a reading from his new book, Lullaby (which I promptly bought and got signed, natch). He's pretty cool. It's surprising how many Choke fans there are. It's the least favorite of his books among fans, according to the poll at The Chuck Palahniuk Cult (http://www.chuckpalahniuk.net), but those who like it truly love it. They are like you, Roach.

Anyhoo, he was pretty very cool and the book looks pretty very cool, and my converstaion with him was dumb on my part but my handshake was very firm and stirdy because I rock the fucking casbah!.

Yeah, anyway, I am cooler than you.

Jutterbug Perfume is about eternal life, love, life's meanings, sex as it pertains to immortality, sex for the fuck of it, and beets.

It's really best to just read the book with no preconceptions. Find it in a bookstore and read the first three pages. If you don't think it's the coolest goddamn intro you've ever read, don't bother buying it.

Robbins is by far one of my favorite authors now. Skinny Legs and All was almost as good as Jitterbug Perfume, but not quite. Not Quite!
