MrYepp
I just want someone to explain to me why moves like DFA, backstab, or any other "cheap moves" and spamming allegedly are n00b moves and don't require skill.
Yoda_623
Well, in my opionion thats not true. Everything you do in this game requires skill. Unless you spam the same move over and over. I perfer to mix my moves up. But, I don't think any of those moves listed are cheap.
HellFyre69
well thats because those atks, Usually takes A LOT of dmg (except bs), and sometimes u can even kill sum1 with 1 HIT!.. PPL call this moves "n00b moves", because you can get really really really lucky, and kill sum1 with a DFA... and it's a ez way to kill ppl without showing n1 work. Although It doesnt seem to be n00b moves, cuz it takes a little bit of skills to time your DFA's but o well =P..
MrYepp
k but when u think about it, everyone can do those moves. it's not like someone's camping a gun, so he kills everyone with that good gun, and no one can get that gun to kill him. everyone has an equal opportunity to do it, so i dont see how it's so easy and cheap, everyone can do it, its just a matter if u choose to do it or not. its like pitting two soldiers against each other. U can give them options to pick rifle or pistol, they both COULD use the rifle but if one of them picks to use the pistol i say its their loss. its like the same thing in JK2: "cheap" moves = rifle regular moves = pistol what u choose should be your problem, but i dont see why people blame it on the game and change it for everyone because someone decided to choose the "pistol"
thehomicidalegg
people say they are cheap coz they get killed by these moves (as they do the most damage) but dont know how to counter them
Revan Bakr'
Yeah, these moves aren't cheap. It's only when you use them over and over again: spamming. OH btw, you'll notice it the ones who are dominating the game that'll call it cheap the most. Stupid, egotistical, smaghfragabahasd;sd....... RpTheHotrod
Yep. It's only cheap when they spam the SAME move over and over...cheap...pointless. I was dueling someone the other day, and he evenually won, but said I used "every cheap move in the book" ?? I never backstabbed, never DFA, never medium-DFA, backslashed once, when he threw saber, I'd roll out of the way. I'd throw my saber at times, when he would jump over, I'd quickly lunge and hit him from below, and would sometimes kick him if he charged at me alot. Point is....everything you do is cheap, unless you stand still and don't attack. (At least, that's what they say)
Hiteche5
Funny. It just seems in this game more than any other people do not like to get beaten. Maybe it's the mystique of being a Jedi and knowing their power. But in multi-player your gonna get killed. Heck I've seen guys blowing away servers with scores like 40 as opposed to the second place guy's 5 or 6 and you kill them and they go BALLISTIC like you murdered their Mom or something. If I die I respawn and think nothing of it.
Kstar__2
i never use cheap moves, i cant time a backstab:D maybe thats why i lose all the time ( in the begining, i won, but after a while, i started losing)

When someone is talking smack after killing me I just say, "Thats okay, I can just respawn and try again, no problem." Kaan
MrYepp
k but why is spamming cheap? you still have an equal chance against them. If the people who post hear are so good as they say, then why are they still against spamming... nothing's easier than beating a spammer, they're predicatble. Why change the game just because people are being easy to beat(spamming)
Hiteche5
Because some people havce not figured out how to counter the move that is being spammed and are getting beat by it so they call it cheap.
KnightHawk420
Spamming is one thing. Spamming a move which is bugged is another. Sure everyone else could do the same... Alla assfight servers. The problem with the DFA's, BS up until 1.04 was that any freakin nOOb could come in, learn nothing but that move and rack up alot of kills. Against even a skilled saberist, a nOOb could be dangerous and even kill that saberist. Another example of a move that has too much to gain and very little to lose. Yeah sure the guys back to you, but do you see that invisible saber behind his back that will prevent you from attacking him or doing any equal damage? I didn't think so... As it exists in 1.03 BS was a nOOb move. No skill needed. So you choose to get good at BS, your still cheap, because you still choose to use the move regardless of how dumb it looks. But fear not in 1.03 it's not your fault your cheap just the way it has to be if you expect to keep up with the assfighters. AKA just be the better assfighter. Yeah your right though, anyone could do it, and some do it better than others. Are you cheap? Yes, you and everyone else though. lol So don't take it personally. But is it unfair? no.. Well anyway enough of that nightmare back to 1.04.
