duder Posted August 20, 2002 Posted August 20, 2002 I've just read a superb book called 'Perfume' by Patrick Suskind. I would recommend it to the older forummers, or those that have confidence in their reading and vocabulary skills. It is at points quite a painful book to read, but I've simply never read anything like it. After reading a large amount of history & philosophy, this book really rekindled my love for fiction. hannibalscipio Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 I think one of the strengths of LOTR is that it (the movie) adhered pretty closely to the book. You gotta take care of your base first. If only Lucas could learn that.....
