That's what makes any art form a wonderfull thing. You have had 20 years to get used to the charecters from the old movie. Of coarse they are going to grow on you more than the the ones from the NT. And LOL as well agent smith. That would be funny to see SW with that kind of dialog in it:)

And believe me, there is a HELL OF A LOT of difference between the Scottish and English accents. I'm not saying he can't act, I'm saying he can't do the English accent well enough to convince me. Probebly the digital camara and all the blue screen makes it difficult for an actor to respond to things that aren't there. Well perhaps episode 3 will be a bit more like the oldies, i hope... ET Warrior
Yes, episode 3 will be just like the OT, because George is going to go dig through the trash heaps and pull out an old Camera, then he's going to use no computers, and he'll clone harrison ford, carrie fischer, and mark hamill so that they are younger than they were in ANH. That way we won't have these new stupid actors portraying such totally bad-ass characters that we don't care about because we haven't been around them for more than 20 years...... (I was being sarcastic...in case you can't tell)
MotionMan
This has nothing to do with anything but... The only update in the special editions of the OT that bothered me was the alien girl singer in jabas palace. I didnt really like that too much:)
ET Warrior
I hated Greedo shooting first. That's the only thing that bothered me.......i didn't care about that singer..it was alright.

I guese Lucas didnt want to make Han look too much like a killer. heh:) The alienn singer just rubs me the wrong way though.
teutonicknight
I personally don't really care about the greedo shotting first thing.
ET Warrior
I think it makes han look a lot less smart. I mean, before he knew greedo was going to try and shoot him, but he had his gun drawn and ready and pulled the trigger before Greedo knew what hit him! Now greedo was smart enough to shoot faster than han.......not the coolest!!! 1000 Posts!!!! HOOHA!!!!!!!!!!!

mima kake
I think the OT is more mature acting wise. The new ones are a bit childisch with to much clichés. Also Lucas is showing a lot new characters but no backgrounds. I agree that we all didn't know sandpeople or jawa's when we first saw them, but they make sence in a dessert. The characters where more serving the story. George lucas said that the FX are a tool to help the story. But I find that in the new episodes the FX are almost the story. But well, thats just me BTW I thought the new FX where great but i hunger for the dialogues, like between Yoda and Luke or Han and Leia. They are realy talking to eachother. and not staring to some empty space...
ET Warrior
I ep 1 All the Jedi on the council were as real as Yoda in ESB. IN episode 2 all but one of them were......alot of the actors aren't talking to nothing, they're talking to people or puppets or whatnot. They're just acting in a total blue room.
