Why is it possible to have kick enabled without jump, the main reason i play no force no jump is because I can not stand kick and I am certain I am not alone here. To be honest, if kick remains active with jump disabled, you will be forcing players who dont want to play with kick to have to use it. And it really does shuffle the deck for true no force duellists. On a lighter note, sounds like you have the rest under control, reds speed increase will help to make a viable option again. Remember, the damage you do and the ease with which you can knockdown are both heavily related to what level of force jump you have. A no-force duel grants only level 1 jump to the participants, so the damage you can do is almost always single-digit, and you have to have near perfect aim to get a knockdown (and i do mean perfect). I don't think that there'll be much of a problem with people being killed or even moderately wounded with kicks in no-force matches. In that aspect, kicks are only useful as a tactical tool, not as a serious physical threat. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Non force duellists have always had No Kick whatso ever why do we all of a sudden need it? Why not just leave it alone? If kick was not an option to begin with why have it? Ideally what we need is like 1.04 but with your better blocking system, there is no need at all for kick in NO FORCE duel, its never been available till this mod?!?! As 1.04 is at the moment the only thing to worry about is sabers in a no force duel, If anything more people that Ive spoke to want jump but no kick not the other way round. Sorry but to have kick but no jump defies logic whether it does damage or not. Take my word for it it radically alters the way a NO FORCE duel is played. Please consider this its possibly the only major flaw with your mod as it is. Anyways keep up good work and let us all know the minute yer mod is ready.... zerowingzero Posted August 23, 2002 Share Posted August 23, 2002 Actually when we were testing it anyway a perfect front kick in NF does 12 and one slightly off did 10, which is a bit muxh for spending no force on jump. txjeep Posted August 26, 2002 Share Posted August 26, 2002 Hey, I like this mod . I am still a newbie, but the saber duels feel a lot more real now. Damage seems to be very consistent as well. The location of hits also seems to cause appropriate damage (i.e. a diag slash to the head and you are dead). I find that I play much better with Promod than with no mods or with Jedimod. It all seems less random. Nice work ArtifeX. Anyone have NF SO servers running this one yet? Now that I have practiced with the bots for a while, I am ready to be hacked up and taught a few lessons by you guys. I would like to keep using this mod though. Thanks. cYbErDuD Posted August 29, 2002 Share Posted August 29, 2002 Hey arti, i got a suggestion, could make it so when somebody get struck by a big hit but manage to block somehow poorly (bad CSC(sp?)he can get his saber knocked out of his hand?(20-30% chance? or whatever you want) or when he trows his saber at someone and he blocks well (CSC) the saber falls to the floor and he has to retrieve it? would be freaking cool and just like single player/movies whatcha think?
