Without custom animations most of them look awful in game, and due to polycount restraints half of them are practically flat planes with wrinkles painted on. Maybe it'd be cool for cutscenes, but with a few exceptions(such as dooku and vader) I can't stand them when playing. And btw, the blindfold is modeled.

I believe that Jerec fits into that catagory with Dooku and Vader. I say include the cape. Jerec just wouldn't seem the same without it

adillon Posted August 20, 2002 Posted August 20, 2002 jeez, it's been so long since i've played jkI i had no idea the guy even had a cape ... guess i always remembered him as he is in-game, without one. i agree with inbred about the "look" and "feel" of capes when you're playing. all the clipping that occurs with the arms and legs is a little distracting. the only models i've seen that are successful with capes are the mandalorians/fetts model pack and the royal guard/kanos/jax model pack. and do you know why? because the capes are short and/or pulled back off their shoulders. so maybe you'd consider giving jerec a shawl, you know, like old ladies wear? didn't think so. keep up the great work, fellas!

Started school the beginning of this week so I'm extremely busy and haven't had a chance to touch the skin in about a week. I've also got some medical problems I'm dealing with(nothing too serious), so I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Hopefully when I get my life in order I can finish it up. Otherwise I'll just find someone to pass it on to.
