Reb Starblazer
I've downloaded them but have not yet installed them, so I don't know if they'll help with Jedi Outcast. The last drivers I got were the 28.01 ones, and I didn't know that they were up to this version. Thank you kindly for bringing this to my, and other Nvidia cards users, attention. Absurd
I've been reading about them. Its quite possible to gain this 25% they are not rendering frames but simply reporting them as rendered. If that's the case, you'll get a choppy, jerky, like visual and control feel going on. Otherwise, they are just buggy as hell for most people. Could be something else though... They aren't WHQL certified so you run the risk of using them.

NerfYoda
From what I've read these drivers will give you better FPS in your games because they lower texture detail. Theres some display setting that fixed it though. I forget where it is at the moment though.
Wicket the Ewok
3DMark2001 score with 28.32 = 10024 3DMark2001 score with 40.41 = 10969 Not a bad increase, don't know what it'll do to games though.
Lunatic Jedi
Has anybody experienced any problems with 30.38? I'm going to download that instead of 40.41 because 40.41 isn't certified and I'm hearing a lot of bad things about it. Which should I download? I wonder do they even test the drivers?

Unless you absolutely need to squeeze the best performance possible out of your video card (whether the 40.41 drivers do this is still up for question) follow the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Wicket the Ewok
Remember to remove the old drivers first (control panel -> add/remove programs -> nVidia blah blah blah -> Yes, I want to reboot now). If you do that you shouldn't have any problems. Sure, if it ain't broke don't fix it but when you're getting a 10% performance bonus without spending any money I'm all in favour of it.
