Darth Groovy
There is a sale on a Seagate at a local store here, and I am in dire need of a new hard drive. I have never installed one, so is this a good brand? Is it hard to install? Also will it fit in a Gateway desk top toaster? Let me know what you think, or what you know. Rogue Nine
I've not a clue about the company, but I'd like an 80GB hard drive myself. And it isn't all that hard to install. It's all a matter of switching cables and not electrocuting yourself. Eh......Gateways are evil.

Darth Groovy
I got the super low budget toaster. The outstanding features were a monitor and a keyboard, and a mouse pad that has that stupid gateway cow design on it, which I use for a beer coaster. Guest Jed
Seagates are great hard drives. I'd love to get one, but I need to buy a special Laptop one. And Gateway sucks What is every1's feeling on HP/Compaq?
