Psionic Jedi Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 I prefer Nerd over Geek, Computer Nerd over Nerd, and Gamer over Computer Nerd. Gamer sounds more catchy, doesn't it? I've plenty of friends, don't play sports if I don't have to (like from peer pressure at a Birthday party to play football or at school PE) but I do get involved, go out to places with my family but not with friends, and hang out with my friends at each others' houses to play *gasp* console games. Whoo, what an emotional purging! I feel so pure of spirit now that I've admitted I have no life!

Seriously though, whats a nerd? Who dictates what constitutes nerdishness and who would give a toss either way? My philosiphy is if you enjoy something do it! If you stop yourself doing something because someone 'COOL' has said that its nerdish then you are not a nerd you are a fool! I'd go for nerd above fool anyday, suffice to say the only person that can truly know whats cool or not is yourself, it's not for others to decide!!!

Sort of easy going and don't let any one thing totally dominate my interest... unless its dreams. First movie I ever went to was Empire Strikes Back when I was a little kid. Saw it in a drive-in in my pajamas. Sort of sealed my nerd-fate.
