Wednesday is the day! Blues lost tonight 2-1 in overtime. CRAP! What is worse is that they gave up a goal and an assisst to two people who were on the team two years ago. I miss Young (goal) and Turgeon (assist).

Bruins are doing pretty good this year. Nothing can be really said until after preseason when most of the rosters have been finalized. There are some rules that will hopefully be enforced this year which should make your speedy wingers score a lot more. The big question is in the goalie. The Bruins signed Steve Shields and they have Grahme both of which are pretty good goalies but who is #1 and how well will they do? They also lost Bill Guerin who is a 50 goal scorer who is a powerhouse or a forward. They just have to sit back and watch.

If the refs really enforce those new rules there'll be a LOT of interference penalties for the first half of the season i'm thinking..I'm pretty sure it'll help out the avs though...last year we sucked big-time getting the stupid puck across the blue line ;)

hey hockeylovers, if u would describe urself as an nhl player, who would it be?

for me, it would be Peter Forsberg: great passing, strength, deffense and offense abilities,...

he´s like me, only a bit better:D

Give me Al MacInnis! I am not 6'6 or 240 pounds but I have a slapshot that can hurt your mother, never had a negative plus/minus due to defense skills, and a vision of the game. He always seems to be where the puck is going to be.

That is my guy. Only two more days.

He is now a coyote boy. I would hate it too.

St. Louis is in soooo much trouble. Their captain 6'4 200+ something Defensemen is out for a long time, their goalie and their backup goalie are both hurt, and they cannot seem to put the puck in the net or keep it out of their own. Woe is my team.

The good news though is that Divis who is the 3rd string goalie was the Austrian (I think) goalie during the Olympics and he is amazing. I watched him and I was in awe of his talent. I am sure glad he is our 3rd guy as opposed to Sanford (he is our 4ht and now our backup. I do not like him).

So the avs tied their first game agains the stars, it was a pretty good game, and then they LOST last night to the bruins, with .5 SECONDS LEFT IN THE GAME!!! i was so sad...i mean, half a second away from overtime anda guaranteed point.....and we lost it. So sad.

The good news about that game was that I have Sergei Samsonov as one of my fantasy wingers so not only did he earn me a goal but it was a GW also.

In one of my fantasy leagues I have Nabokov, Johnson, Belfor, and Brathwaithe as my goalie. All of them are not available. Injuries and what not. FRUSTRATING!
