Taos Posted October 8, 2002 Posted October 8, 2002 Will this forum get revived with the upcoming release of AOTC on dvd/video.....? I certainly hope so........this is where I first started posting on LF.
The Truthful Liar Posted October 8, 2002 Posted October 8, 2002 *sigh* Yes... the memories... This place certainly deserves to come alive again, however it's not all that dead. (yet)

ckcsaber Posted October 8, 2002 Posted October 8, 2002 They need to just change it to the Star Wars General Discussion forum. So it not just EP 2
Ratmjedi Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 Anyone know what happened to Motionman ? I haven't seen him post for some while. I was just wondering if any of you had any info. Thanks.
Darth Vader 421 Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 I have sealed my Medetation Chamber, removed my breathe-mask and helmet, crossed my legs and plugged my computer systems into the Droid Brain at my nearest WHSmith's, awaiting the news that the "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones" DVD has arrived and passing the time by medetation, concentration on the dark side and counting the money in my wallet, making sure I have enough in reserve. £15... £18... £19.99p: good, my first count of the day...

So it not just EP 2 That would be a great idea!! RatmJedi- I've been kinda wonderin' the same thing....where's MOTIONMAN at??? Maybe he got to 1000 posts and just bailed.......? Do you think ET Warrior knows??? I'd like to find out....he's a cool guy!!
AgentSmith Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 I too wonder where MotionMan, Et_Warrior and Hannibal are hanging out ... (Well leXX vanished on us for a while too. But hooray she came back! ) Many threads here are slowing down I gather. I do my best to keep the Aayla thread alive though and keep all you peeps informed and all! (Thanks for contributing so much leXX btw!)
Taos Posted October 14, 2002 Author Posted October 14, 2002 Agent Smith- I see ET Warrior over at the Swamp now, he's there most of the time. Hannibal I see over at SWkotor, though I think he posts more @GB.com, and yes still curious as to where MotionMan went........I did pm ET, so we'll see if he knows anything. I just looked at MotionMan's profile and he has posted since Sept 2.......so he's not hangin' around at all.... You should check out the swamp if you haven't already.......I want more discussions on Aayla!!
Darth Vader 421 Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 I have great memories of classic events... in fact, if you look towards my signature, you will realise I speak the truth when I say my favourite "Star Wars" scene ever (including "Attack of the Clones") is the lightsaber duel between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi aboard the Death Star battle station. I can still clearly remember shaking with tension, sweating with fear and gazing in disbelief in the cinema, 1977, eight years old, "A New Hope". I wish I was back there, now... what a classic film...
obi Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 Actually, I was talking forum-wise. I remember oging to see episode II the day it came out, and I remember the laughs people laughed when Anakin made his rather pathetic moves on Padme.

Omg.......those were pathetic weren't they?? They could have come up with something better then those lines.........
ET Warrior Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 Aye, this forum did sort of simply die. Very sad thing it is. I found enjoyment over at the swamp, very active that forum is. So that is where i spend my days. I try coming here time and again, but i have so not any free time anymore. Very sad.
AgentSmith Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 Is there an Aayla thread or discussion at the swamp? *Needs his daily Aayla fix.*
Holo-Sidious Posted October 15, 2002 Posted October 15, 2002 The only laughs eminating from British cinema's were ones directed towards C-3PO's tragic battle humour. "I'm quite beside myself!" and "This is such a drag!" are so bad that they become funny. Yet, we are laughing at him, not with him, and so the circle of crappy Star Wars humour goes on... First Jar-Jar Binks, now this... the only good characters are the serious ones.
Taos Posted October 15, 2002 Author Posted October 15, 2002 Originally posted by AgentSmith Is there an Aayla thread or discussion at the swamp? *Needs his daily Aayla fix.* Not that I know of.......we can certainly start one up!! I know plenty of ppl who wouldn't mind talkin' about the hottest jedi in the galaxy.

(I can talk about other stuff, just little time to!)
Kryllith Posted October 16, 2002 Posted October 16, 2002 I wouldn't worry to much about reviving the forums. I figure when the AotC DVD does come out that people will watch the deleted scenes and listen to the film commentary, which in turn will probably start (or restart) canon/non-canon feuds... Kryllith

The Truthful Liar Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 They're not that bad, on the most part actually quite fun

AgentSmith Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 Originally posted by Purple_Tentacle what are canon/non-canon feuds? can u just give me the jist of it? Just the usual 'You are wrong and I'm right!' back and forth debates!
