MeddlingMonk
Why do you need/want screen caps of DVDs?
Darth Eggplant
I like those cool musician guys in Nightmare Before Christmas. I also would like shots of many of the characters from that movie. so if anyone had the dvd and could take screen shots, I would be a happy camper. Darth Eggplant
Made (have not seen it yet) Swingers (the same) City of Lost Children *****star Amelie (no) Being John Malkovich (soon I Hope) Dr. Strangelove (old but good classic) A Clockwork Orange (from my youth) *book is better* Full Metal Jacket (yes cool) Jabberwocky (wacky and wonky, what no Time Bandits?) Brazil: Criterian Collection *weeee the version with the 20 odd minutes of fly eye camera shots, we're all in this together Tuttle.* 12 Monkeys (coolest Gilliam to date) The Cell (took my 72 year old mom to it, she liked it. says something about the acorn and the tree) Once Upon a Time in China 1,2,and 3 (the first one was the best cool OST, Jet Li Rocks!!!!) The Legend 1 and 2 (???) Labyrinth (dance the magic dance) Dark City (own the video and OST) *wished they did not do the narrated intro Keiffer did not want to do it or film director but producers pulled a Blade Runner) Edward Scissorhands (a wonderful film, fun story Jofa you'll apreciate this; when friends and I left the theatre we over heard a woman saying "I did not like it, it was not realistic enough." Hello!!! he has fricken scissors for hands.) Memento (???) Evil Dead 1, 2 and 3 (have never seen them) *get the UK or Japenese import of the Quick and the Dead* The Shadow of the Vampire (so cool) great Malkovich & Defoe movie Clerks (Kevins second best movie) Mallrats *insert rasberry FX here* Chasing Amy *another rasberry FX* Dogma (his finest work) J&SBSB (initials please?) SLC Punk! (???) Waking Life (???) Donnie Darko (???) Winter Sleepers (???) Nurse Betty (hope to see soon) Run Lola Run (ques esto?) Princess and the Warrior (???) Serial Mom Cry-Baby (I like other John Waters films more, but good.) Cecil B. Demented (going to see it this month on the movie channel)

Demented (going to see it this month on the movie channel) I'll comment on those Jabberwocky(was expecting more, also somewhat boring and Gilliam didn't give any Lewis Carroll touches at all other than some quotes. read the original poem. I actually have it memorized) The Legend 1 and 2 are more Jet Li flicks, The legend 1 is my personal favorite of all Jet Li flicks(I don't like his american movies that much) Dark City(I used to love this movie so much three years ago. I bought it and was excited to see it again, and I was somewhat dissapointed.) Memento(YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MEMENTO? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? very, very good movie.) Evil Dead you'll love if you fall under the cult movie fans. The first, a crappy horror flick that is so crappy that its freaking awesome. The second, my personal favorite, I laughed, I screamed, it became a part of me, The third, hilarious but has too many cheap laughs. Dogma(Get the DVD cause you have to see the deleted scenes, they make the movie, freaking smith cut them out cause the american audiance hates long movies. Dogma probably would have been my favorite of most movies if he kept those scenes in) SLC Punk!(You'll love SLC punk, it reminds me of your poem Sinister Eggmen) Cecil B. Demented(my favorite Waters. I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me. And you'll love it if you're getting pissed off at the generic hollywood crap flicks they make these days.) scabb
The Nightmare before Christmas is excellent. I think I'll watch it tonight, actually - although I only have it on VHS. I recently began collecting DVDs, and I'm not very far, because I am not very rich. I have, at this moment: > The Big Lebowski (Brilliance) > Reservoir Dogs > Pulp Fiction SE > A Requeim for a Dream > The Simpsons: Season 1 > Se7en > Family Guy: Season 1 (Brilliance) > 'Dilbert': Season 1 (Dissatisfying) Play is a cheap source, my friends from the United Kingdom. Darth Eggplant
some of pearl harbour seemed okay. just like parts of Titanic were okay. I do not own either. but then again I do not have a DVD.
JofaGuht
I didn't like Pearl Harbor very much. But i thought Titantic was okay, but not wonderful. James Cameron is good at what he does, but he seems to make all the bad scripts. The Aybiss is the only movie that I've really liked by him. Most of his others dissapoint me. But the scene with the people playing violin was sweet, not to mention Billy Zane is awesome!
Eclipsed Sun
...just like parts of Titanic were okay. ... Parts like the guy falling off the ship and doing a cartwheel when he hit the propeller, or when the sprout-faced-boy died? They = the best bits. Darth Eggplant
those were the parts I liked best! I like Titanic doccumentaries not mushy unrealistic love stories with 20th century ideals superimpossed upon early 19th cen class vs class struggle society
