saber spining around person

hello everyone,

the other day saw someone standing still with the light saber spining around him. can someone tellme how to do this plz

Sure. Use your mouse.

Throw the saber with lvl 3 throw.

As soon as the saber leaves your hand, hold down the mouse's primary attack button.

When the saber is coming back, dodge it, and continue holding down primary attack. The saber will orbit you.

 

Notes:

1)this move does no damage (I think)

2)To move with saber around you just walk, not run.

3) To keep saber in place and go away, taunt, and when the taunt is finished you can go away.

it does throw damage, ie 30hp each hit.... i believe. THough this is useless in a fight and is for pure show

While you through it yes, but I am 99% sure it does none while orbitiing you.

I try it.......

But it isn't permanent orbitting.....Just a few seconds.....

This is quite a difficult move to execute. Make sure you have lvl 3 saber throw, and ur in blue stance. Find a large open map with few obstacles. Throw your saber until is is a medium to long distance away (default= right moust button). Release your saber throw key when it is bout that distance away from you. Immediately move up+right or up+left by holding down the move forward and strafe left/right key at the same time. Wait until the saber is on the left/right side of you, or a little bit behind you, then hold primary attack (default=mouse1). If you timed it right, it should spin around you indefinitly (if u dont move). Press taunt and the saber will spin in a specific place, and u can move anywhere as long as you continue holding primary attack. As I said, this "trick" is difficult to time and perform and u may have to try/practice a few times until u get it right. Good Luck.

The trick that everyone seems to leave out is that if have to hold the primary attack button THE WHOLE TIME you want it to orbit or the saber stops and comes back to you

bind a key "+taunt"

 

That taunt key. You can do it ingaame in the console:

 

Press and hold shift the tap the ~ key (next to 1 on the keyboard) then type this in the console (pick out an empty key first...we will say that "m" is unsued):

 

/bind m +taunt

 

There ya go.

I agree with all of u here. These strategies seem to work and I find it does do damage to anyone standing in the range. Cool, isn't it. I use it against my enemies to piss them off.

i thought of something it could be useful for. in ctf. have someone keep a saber spinning around your flag. or on a key room in a guns game, keep the saber spinning in front of a wall. it could be useful, who knows

The saber spin is not useful in ANY circumstance as it doesnt do hardly any damage. Its purely for show.
