so where did santa came from?

santa clause actualy comes from the netherlands. dutch people where going to america in the 17th century, and took a dutch custom, called "sinterklaas" with them. in america, it transformed into "santa clause" and it is still celebrated.

 

sinterklaas is an old man, that gives presents to people on his birthday, rather than recieving them, his birthday is 5 december, and i believe he is around 300 years old.

 

 

i just read this somewhere, and i thought that ot would be handy to increase the iq of some swamp members :xp:
