Whats your fav Unique Unit?

 

I love the empire dark troopers. they walk pretty fast and have much better armor and range than a strike mech. vs a hvy destroyer droid though it would do much better 1 on 1 if you use the right tactics. since the Dark trooper moves fast he can run out of the dd range and keep shooting until it dies. other than that i think that dt can out do any ground uu.

Gotta love how Air Speeders SCHRED ANY mech unit, AND ANY type of Destroyer Droid! But a cloaked Star Fighter is pretty cool too...

You cant beat heavy destroyer droids. Use them in huge numbers and they beat anything. Exept aircraft.

And except bigger formations of Assault mechs, Mech Destroyers and if they are tight enough(the DD) Grenade troopers in huge numbers.

I like The Jedi Starfighter myself because if you use the right tactics and create a diversion they can take out a lot of villes and make a big dent in the economy, but not really good in air vs air battles, they could be better .

 

 

You know what would be really cool a civ devoted to jedi, and their unigue unit could generate any random jedi....HEY I'M GONNA MAKE A TREAD ON THAT....COME POST!!!

But actually, my FAVORITE UU isn't even on this list... A Wings RULE! You can REALLY do damage to an economy with those badasses!

Hmm. Well, Destroyer Droids are pretty damned fun to use. But they're kinda slow considering that they're supposed to be kinda fast.

Did that make sense?

Jedi Starfighters are also great because of their cloak, but they're not all that good at fighting. So I'd have to say Airspeeders.

if used correctly, a wings can be the most destructive weapon in the game. you have to rank them up there with masters in terms of effectiveness... but they wreck economy as where jedi wreck buildings (conversions).

A maxed out Destroyer Droid. I love those things...without shields tho their pretty useless...

Nah they can be good without shields. A-Wings are very fast but in late games, after your enemy aquires homing sensors, they are pretty useless.

I voted airspeeders, cause they rock, and beat any non-air, non-AA pretty quick, and are the best counter to the strike rush, but a-wings are almost as good. They're fast as hell, have a long range, good attack, but their hp sucks. But hey, they're cheap, and are excellent harassers, of both econs and armies. And htye have a bonus vs acs
