Entertainers.. What can they do?

I´ve seen some posts about Entertainers, but what do they really do? Do the dances and music have any "buff" effect or is it only for the looks?

 

I think they´re cool, but rather useless if they don´t have some kind of effect on people.

Well, I'm pretty sure that they have some sort of healing ability, but beyond that, your guess is as good or better than mine.
