Cantina Six: Postlude to Holocaust Part II

Redwing

Heimdall: They never stood a chance. The monster that was unleashed could only be beaten by two people. However one of those two people is now dead, and that creature cannot be stopped.

We were left with two choices give people as many people a painless death, or let everyone die a painful torturous death.

As for Misea, if she cannot control herself and goes to the darkside then she will die. And yes I've seen a jedi rage. However that is nothing compared to some other things.

Well Guy, are you going to answer my question?

*The group heads to Guy's ship in the Asgardried's hold. Guy opens the back of the ship revealing its own hold, which is full of all kinds of droids, which crawl, skitter, roll and climb out of the way as they enter*

Guy: *pointing to a set of small hovercraft* If we need to fly in small spaces we can use those. *pointing to several odd-looking sets of suits hanging on the wall* Suits - Heat-resistant, cold-resistant, and energy-resistant respectively. They're rather heavy but they could still come in handy. *gestures to several open crates, all filled with gray clothlike bands of various sizes* What you asked for, Heimdall; sort of the light version of the suits my people wear. None of the parts that fit around joints or fragile places of the body - you'll see why if you put them on. *picks up one of the bands, the right size to go around an arm* They can be quite uncomfortable, I warn you...

Raschel: How do you put them on?

Guy: *handing her a band and a device that looked like a red glowrod* Put it around a body part - your upper arm in this case - and pass this over it. It'll tighten.

*Raschel complies. The clothlike band suddenly expands in area and shrinks in width, squeezing around her arm. She gives a slightly pained expression*

Guy: To take it off just pass it over the band again.

Raschel: *taking it off* What do they do?

Guy: Cushion blows. Stop most energy weapons. Heals itself if damaged or cut, which is really hard to do to these. They'll also expand to cover you and let you survive in a vacuum, at least until you run out of oxygen.

*Misae returns*

Heimdall: You should have said something before. We are now heading for the towers. Our route takes us over the airfield we landed at earilier. We are going to stop there, and talk to that man. Perhaps we can get some information out of that man so we won't be surprised again.

*Leaving the hold. Heimdall goes to the bridge. Idun meanwhile picked a gun and closed the armory.*

Idun *to Raschel*: Here, This one should be fine. *Hands Raschel a blaster* Something you should keep in mind with this weapon. It can only be used by you and an Aesir. If someone else tries to use it the gun will detonate.

*The Asgardreid lifts off and heads towards the Airfield. Idun joins Heimdall in the bridge*

Idun: What do you think about what Guy brought?

Heimdall: Some of it could be useful. Although I'll stick to our own weaponry.

*The Asgardreid arrives at the airfield. Heimdall sets her down in the center of the field. Keeping the ship powered up*

Heimdall: This will be only a minute. Care to take the helm?

Idun: I would love to. Been a while since I've flown a ship.

*Heimdall exits the bridge and walks towards the entrance hatch.*

Heimdall: Any one is welcomed to join me. This will only take a minute.

*Heimdall exits the ship. There was a soft breeze, and a forbodding silence. Heimdall looks around, looking for the man*

*The remains of a saber battle is in sight, ash gets blown by the slight wind.*

*Sitting on a set of small crate, sat both Irvines, holding their sabers, unignited, being quiet. WH Irvine store at RH Irvine whom just kept his head down as depression sets in more.*

WH Irvine: "I'm going to get some food."

RH Irvine: "No thank you, I'm not hungry..."

*WH Irvine starts walking, rubing his arms.* 'Man that wore me out that time. I should practice more...' *turns around* "Yo why are we staying here! We should get another way of getting out of here!"

*RH Irvine stands up still keeping head down.* "Your right..."

*A ship lands behind RH Irvine.*

WH Irvine: "That feels fimilar somehow." *Heimdall exits and starts looking for someone.* "Whoa! Small universe I guess it is now." *runs* "YO!"

*RH Irvine turns around to see who it is, barely lifting his head.*

*WH Irvine goes up to heimdall, leaving RH Irvine behind*

WH Irvine: "Tell me, have things getting really wierd lately? I met up with two guy's whom were Jedi, they gave me discriptions of a certain group of people, whom I thought sounded familar. So me and my friend here left to hunt you guy's down." *Looks back at RH Irvine, whom didn't care about much, and what's left of the saber battle.*

WH Irvine: "After we got here, those two attacked us along with several other if his friends. That guy right there," *points* "just 'killed' his best friends, even his former 'Master'. He's quite devistated. Tell me, what the hell is going on with this damn universe!"

*Heimdall just looks at Irvine, the temptation begins to grow.*

Heimdall: A pity we didn't kill those two earlier. *Looks at RH Irvine* I see you have meet your clone.

As for your question. The galaxy is coming to an end. It has little over 20 years left. Demonic forces have been unleashed. So this is to be expected.

*WH Irvine ignores the 'clone' part, knowning that heimdall had it backwards.*

WH Irvine: "It could have been easier if you did. But call me a fortune teller, things are going to get worse, by the way you discribed who's going to come out. As for the universe blowing up, suppose what are you going to do for that twenty years? I doubt even you wouldn't want to do nothing and let it blow up. I would try and help, but I wouldn't know where to start."

*Orthos struggles to try and remember who the Irvines are. He goes to Idun*

Orthos: Do you have any idea what it might be we're looking for at Darkstar Tower? I might be able to remember if there's anything like this.

Coruscant

Misae: You again? Didn't you leave with Syrnl? *double takes at RH Irvine* Oh Force. There's two of them.

----------

Har'ass system, Freedon VII space station

*A dead body lies in a large machine, in a room cleverly hidden among the waste disposal facilities. The body has a cyborg right hand and neck. Cyborg pieces litter the rest of the body as if used as patches.

Sakara walks through one of the walls. He is holding the glowing ball of energy he'd ripped from the vampire earlier. He walks up to the dead body and places the hand holding the energy on the body's chest. The energy seeps into the body and disappears.

The body's face morphs into the demonic game face of a vampire and its eyes open. It sits up, revealing it to be the assassin who tried to kill Orthos earlier*

Sakara: I promised you, you would be reborn, didn't I? *The assassin doesn't speak, so Sakara proceeds to ramble* Of course, they did have to cut off your head. Brutal, that petulant little white-haired freak can be. Threw the whole thing off. And with the girl Jedi cutting off your hand.... You'll notice that you're wearing a bit of cyborg pieces. Hope you don't mind. Vampirism can't heal everything, you know. Just damn close. And oh yes, you want blood, don't you.

*Sakara whistles. Two alien mercenaries drag a half-conscious girl in*

Sakara: Young, innocent, dumb blonde, wandered down the wrong alley. Yeah, it's a cliche, but hey! Sometimes---

*The new vampire abruptly speaks, getting up and extracting himself from the machine* The Darkstar! I want to kill...Orthos Darkstar...

Sakara: Ah, getting right to the point, huh? Right to the mission? You vengeance types are so predictable sometimes. But really, he did you a favor, you know. Now you get to be young, healthy, powerful, and good-looking forever. Sure you'll be a ruthless murderer, but since you're soulless, you won't have to worry about those nasty things like guilt and conscience and regret... So all in all, you've come out on top, no?

*The assassin thinks that over, then smiles* You're right. But I'm still going to kill him. And while I'm at it...his friends, too. For what they did to me. I need to do it... *The vampire looks to his side at the girl, then lunges for her and sinks his teeth into her neck. Sakara grins*

Stromtrooper: Hey you, stop.

*Hal fires and drops him.*

*Hal reaches the fighter, jumps vaults into the cockpit. The atromech tweetles happily, then blows a vasberry.*

Hal: Hey Chip, you knew I'd come back for you. Afterall, my dad left his will in your hard drive.

*Rasbury*

Hal: Okay, punch it!

*The fighter lifts off.*

WH Irvine: "Well, yeah I was with syrnl, but he's dead. Along with this 'Lokpeet' or however you pronounce it... Besides How could you forget me orthos, I helped, um, 'Guy' save ya from that bastard. Oh wiat you were unconsious."

*turns around and a barely caring RH Irvine*

WH Irvine: "He's a long story... But for anything he's a great fighter, but he's not in the best of moods right now. He's says he almsot mastered the same saber style as what Mace Windu used, I can vouch for that."

((okay, get my characters on that ship ;) (mentions about psot in c9, about Ice storm possibly making loss of power! )))

*As the temptation grows ever larger, Heimdall begins to finger his sword. *

Heimdall: Of course things are going to get worse. The galaxy is coming to an end.

*Out of the corner of his eye Heimdall saw something. Turning his head to get a better look he is shocked by what he sees. There was a dragon flying directly towards them. However it wasn't just any dragon but Nidhogg. A giant powerful evil beast from Helheim. At the moment Nidhogg was far away, just a speck in the horizon if the others looked*

Idun to Orthos: Evidence would suggest we will be looking for a box similar to those two. *She motions to the two boxes that held pieces of a sword* Most likely the box will contain another piece of a sword.

Evidence would also suggest that the box would have been hidden until now and that it is sealed and cannot be opened by conventional means.

Heimdall: *more to himself* Oh no. *to everyone* Everyone into the ship now we have to leave.

*With out another word Heimdall rushes into the ship. Passing Idun in the hall near the bridge. Idun sensing Heimdalls distress*

Idun: What is it?

Heimdall: Nidhogg is here.

Idun: Oh my god, that means.....I never thought this would happen.

*Idun Takes a seat next to Heimdall and begins to work the controls to prepare the ship*

Heimdall *calling back to the others*: You had better strap in.

((Okay, still here :D

But Im not sure when or if it might happen (cus i have lost power even AFTER the waves of freezing ice had passed)))

*The two Irvine's run on the ship, RH Irvine trailing. They strap in.*

WH Irvine: "Syrnl went right for 'Lok-pee-hit' but a Raver-classed ship crashed right onto the building they fought in, we barely got out alive." *Shows a few scars.*

*RH Irvine kept silent, his head tilted down as his hair drooped over his face. Behind the hair, he shed a few tears.*

RH Irvine: 'Why did this happen? Why?'

*Hal landed his fighter outside a small dilapidated building. He rapped on the door and an old man opened it. In side were the remaining knights and warriors of Aguma, pitifully few.*

Hal: Where is it.

Old Man: Sir, it was brought here before........ It is in the chaple.

*Hal strides into the chapple, as he crosses the freshhold the pauses, lowers his head the mubles a quick prayer.*

*Inside the chaple was a sword, the black sword of Malken Flax, first lord of Aguma, and next to it was his father's sword, and his.

Hal bowed to Malken's sword, then kissed his father's blade. He took his own weapon and left, heading back out into the dark.*

Heimdall: It is a dragon. A very large dragon. Let's just hope his companions are not with him.

*The Asgardreid lifts off and rotates towards their destination. Heimdall gives full power to the engines setting the ship racing past buildings.*

Idun: I hope he doesn't have his companions. We are maintaining distance with him.

*Passing an intersection another dragon swoops down upon the ship. Heimdall sends the Asgardreid into a dive and barely dodges the dragon. A small speeder wasn't so lucky as a ball of fire engulfed it.*

Heimdall: That answers that question.

*Heimdall slows the ship to give him a little more time to react. Fire balls begin to fly past the ship as the second dragon gave chase. Heimdall weaves in and out of the buildings still heading towards the towers.*

Idun: Which one was that?

Heimdall: I don't know I didn't get a good glimpse of it.
