Cantina Six: Postlude to Holocaust Part II

Redwing

Recommended Posts

Raschel: *to the Irvines* Obviously this has nothing to do with...*giving up* Never mind. *shoots the holoprojector* Bastard. *to Orthos* These are prototypes. That means they must have exploitable weaknesses...right?

Misae: *ignites her lightsaber* Like Hal said, they're only robots. *leaps at the nearest proto-Reaver*

*Marin begins morphing*

*Orthos thinks*

Orthos: Yes! They're made of Mandalorian Iron! It's gonna be hard to get into them! But they do move slowly...

*A vocal recording of Syrnl activates*

HoloSyrnl: Nice try, but I won't shut up that easy. Now Orthos, I see you've remembered their weakness. Now, I should inform you that I'm going to do a scan of the place, and if I find anything else I can set on you I'm going to use it. And should you survive, you'd better clean up your room, it's a disgrace.

((One thing: WH Irvine and RH Irvine ARE TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE!

WH Irvine: "You know, shut up. Why can't I add in diologue before some event happen!"

RH Irvine: "obviously. and stop confusing him for me alright?"))

*WH Irvine rolls he eyes, he ignites his sabers, which we replaced the broken crystals with good crystals.*

WH Irvine: 'Back in business...'

*As RH Irvine ignites a 'replacement' lightsaber (green), WH Irvine charges at a pro-reaver, keeping in mind at what ever could 'pop' out at him...*

((Scar: We know. RH Irvine agreed with WH Irvine. Please try to think things over before you post them...you're only making your characters look very stupid.))

*Marin completes the morph. It's one she used before on the Shadow's ship, and in the dream-memory room; the bright blue wolf-life Veran*

Marin: <Orthos? If their armor is penetrated, what would a sustained electrical surge do to their insides?>

Marin: <This morph can, yes.>

*The blue wolf bounds across the room towards a proto-Reaver, dodging its blasts. She jumps at the machine, and passes through its shell into its body.

Electricity ripples over the machine's exterior, and Marin leaps out. The proto-Reaver teeters and falls*

Marin: <Two down.>

*Orthos kicks off the floor, dragging his sword with him, causing the Reaver to be cleaved in two*

Orthos: Three down.

*Holo Syrnl activates again*

HoloSyrnl: Well Orthos, maybe you are worthy of my attention. Go to the top of the tower. That's where you'll find what you're looking for.

*Orthos starts up the large staircase.*

Raschel: Knowing Syrnl, this has trap written all over it. Or at least something evil. I say we stay away from the top.

Guy: We need to proceed upwards, in any case...

*A faint, ghostly shriek is heard*

Guy: ...and it seems this castle's traps won't be our only problems.

*WH Irvine gets finished and deactivates the two lightsabers, RH Irvine stands there.*

RH Irvine: "They already started up those stairs..."

WH Irvine: "And you didn't help?"

RH Irvine: "Forget it."

*WH Irvine runs a head, as RH Irvine goes right to the holo-syrnl. He stares at him for a second, then heads for the staircase...*

*Orthos walks out onto a balcony to come face to face with none other than (and you can probably guess)*

Orthos:...Reletha.

Reletha: Well, well well. The prodigal son returns home. Not quite the same view, is it? Anyway, that's not why you're here. You're here for this...

*Reletha holds out a small pommel jewel*

Reletha: You are seeking the time matrix. Well, I also seek it. And if you are to have this, then you must do something first.

*Several doors open, and robed figures walk in*

Reletha: Forget dad's old lieutenants, did you? All thirteen Darkstar Sith Knights have returned. Kill us, and you may take the piece you are looking for.

*Sabers are ignited*

*WH Irvine catches up*

WH Irvine: "Damn, thirteen of those guy's? Well it seems like my day will be complete, meeting a copy of one's self, killing vampires, getting chased by dargons and finally Sith Knights!"

RH Irvine: "Look who's talking buddy." Ignites saber. To rest of group.* "Wiat til they strike first. Watch their movements, make sure they don't confuse you."

*Heimdall and Idun stop before reaching the balcony*

Idun: Well is that what we are looking for?

Heimdall: No, what we are looking for is that way. *pointing down a corridor* Orthos, those two and any of the group that stays should be able to handle this. Afterall they are only sith, not a big threat.

*Heimdall and Idun begin to walk down the corridor leaving Orthos and the Irvines behind....

Speaking softly so their voices didn't carry to the others*

Idun: How did Reletha know about the time matrix?

Heimdall: I won't make any accusations, however until we learn how she came to know this, the group cannot be trusted.

Idun: Agreed.

((Well since we know Reletha survives the Holocaust, and her apprentice [whom she doesn't even have yet] gets the Time Matrix, well she had to show up sometime :D))

Raschel: She must have the Darkstar avatar again. It's the only way she could know.

Misae: *to the Irvines* Shut up, both of you. *re-igniting her lightsaber* Reletha Darkstar. I've heard of you. And now I guess we're gonna kill you. *Beside her Guy stiffens, then relaxes*

Guy: None of us are dying here. Not yet. Not us, and not Reletha...

Misae: Huh? Yes we---what are you talking about?

Guy: I say we don't fight them. *Guy lowers his blaster* It would be pointless.

*Misae stares at Guy, baffled*

*Marin, still in morph, silently turns and lopes after Heimdall and Idun.

Suddenly, ghostly shrieks resound in the halls, much closer. Guy looks at his handheld scanner, startled*

Guy: Magic beings, blackwraiths, coming up fast!

*The entire hall darkens, as if night had abruptly fallen. Two black, misty, five-foot-tall creatures, emerge from the wall. Their bodies give the impression of vicious, humanoid insects. Their long arms end in sharp scythes, surrounded by black, smoky mist.

The first blackwraith raises its hands. Bright streaks of light appear in the air and rush towards its hands. It gathers up the light in its hand and tosses it with an inhuman shriek at the nearest being, which happens to be a Darkstar Sith Knight.

The bolt of light passes right through the Knight's lightsaber and hits it square on. The Knight's body spasms and stiffens, pure white electric bolts running across it. The Knight falls, paralyzed.

Raschel fires at the blackwraith. The bolt passes right through it*

Guy: Everyone, retreat! We don't have any weapons with us that can harm them!

((OOS: Deac, if you don't like what I did to your Knight then tell me and I'll edit. :) But just so you know what just happened is non-permanent))

*Heimdall looked at Idun, she gave a brief nod and the two continued down the corridor.*

Heimdall: With the dragons back perhaps there is a beneficial side effect.

Idun: It can't hurt to try.

Heimdall: Do you remember them?

Idun: Only the simplest ones.

Heimdall: That may be all we need.

[OSS: It's Ok, Red. Bit more exciting than Sith Knights]

*Reletha swears*

Reletha: You...this isn't it, is it? No...it's a summoning gem. Which means I am the master. Kill them!

*One of the monsters swipes at Reletha, but she dodges. She swears again*

Look's like it's everyone for themself!

*Charges at monster*

*Guy looks at his scanner again* Great. They're being attracted to us, just like the snakes.

Raschel: *backing away* What are we supposed to do?

Guy: I have weapons...but they're, well, in my ship. *looks back at the blackwraiths, attacking the Sith Knights and Reletha* They're easily distracted, though...

Raschel: Then let's get out of here before they notice us again!

*The blackwraiths' ghostly shrieks follow the group as they go down the hall. Before they get out of sight, one of the wraith's heads whips in their direction and snarls*

*During the confusion the two Irvines break up*

*The wraith snarls at the group.

WH Irvine: *to Guy* "So, Guy. What kind of weapons you got to kill these things? I mean, what can we do to these things to keep them off our backs?"
