telarium Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 You actually want to BUY shareware?! You're crazy!
Metallus Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 I've never heard of this! I used to be way into shareware games back in the mid-ninties. Someone care to fill me in?
BooJaka Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 Hugo's House Of Horrors was a horrible, horrible game in which you played some guy called Hugo and you went around this creepy mansion (sound familiar) for some forgotten reason. I think there was probably a little more to it then that but I blanked it out long ago. Go to this thread for more details.
telarium Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 The game was also inspired (or a rip off) of the Sierra graphic adventure style at the time. I remember playing three of them... the one with the haunted house, the murder mystery one, and the one in the jungle. And given the insane logic behind Adventure Gamer's Top 20 Games of All Time list, I wouldn't be surprised to see Hugo on there somewhere. Just kidding... I hope.
