Remi
http://www.adventuregamers.com/display.php?id=186&p=15 - I weep. :~
Benny
I am utterly disgusted. No7 because it doesnt use point and click? MI2 was bad enough but this... this is sacrilege. I dont really know what to say, I too weep, big angry tears.
Metallus
Grim Fandango would just be Syberia if it was point and click. I couldn't stand the Syberia controls :~~~.

There ARE better adventure games you know. Although it being 7 based on controls is kind of dumb, Grim controls where fine(EMI keyboard controls were superior though)
Metallus
Yeah, I probably shouldn't have used 'Syberia' as a put-down, but I was more angry about it at the time of the initial posting. Still, it did take me twice as long to figure out how to move around and do stuff as it did in Grim. I liked Grim's interface, and thought it was ideal for 3D adventures, even without the text options. I liked going to investigate what Manny spotted, but I guess EMI's option system was an improvement.
Cookie3118
when i think about it, i did often times have some irritating trouble with scrolling (ie., through dialogue or action options) in EMI. It didn't always understand what i wanted. I would try to scroll down with the arrows, and Guybrush would start turning . . .
