Darth Homer Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Ok, I need some suggestions...the pop killer I have doesn't seem to be working now, I just wanted to get some input from all of you about what I should try or what I should avoid...besides that dastardly noid. *shakes fist* I'll get you Noid!! Oh, uh, what was i doing? oh yeah...pop-up killers, which is best?

MY problem with them is that a lot of sites I use, like Hotmail use popups as ways to open atachments. Are there any blockers out there that can be customized so only popups from certain sites are allowed in?

edlib Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 No prob! I can't come here anymore without it. I've noticed that a few sites freak out when it's on, but it's easy enough to just click the icon to stop the filtering and then refresh the page,.. and that works most of the time.
Zygomaticus Posted January 13, 2003 Posted January 13, 2003 Sometimes blocking popups will prevent you from viewing certain websites or certain forums' private message boxes...but that's all your preference I tend not to go to websites with loads of popups - this one is the worst

WolfmanNCSU Posted January 13, 2003 Posted January 13, 2003 I use the pop up killer that is included in tweak xp. If one ever gets by it, then I can just add it to the list. Works pretty well.
