A bounty hunter

We finally have ourselves a bounty hunter. I'm pretty excited [and afraid] of this guy. :)

Me too! That's a great backstory they've given him. I wonder if he'll just be someone you run across a lot, or if you could maybe get him to join your party. Either way, it's nice to get some info on a character who seems to fall squarely on the other side of the moral spectrum.

Adding a sound clip for him was a nice touch, too. I found myself going back to the other character pages to see if I had missed that feature for them the first time around (I hadn't, unfortunately.)

Bounty Hunter....

Nice story behind him. Another character to make KOTOR great!

:D

But....he's scary....

*hugs teddy bear and keeps the lights on* :p

Then again, it does seem like he had a good reason to kill his parents....

Wow, can't believe I said that....

The galaxy is a pretty big place he could've stayed away from them.

I imagine he will be staying on the Hawk alot.

Great, another new character!

The history sounds incredibly great, and the description sounds interesting. I think I might try to ally with him, try to reason with him, and perhaps see if I can make a 'good' character out of him yet.

Go for it but its your loss when he shoots you in the elbow when your back is turned!

This guy will be stuck on the Hawk for a looong time. Until, of course i decide to go on a rampage with my 'light' jedi. Yes, thats what theyd least expect, because no one suspects the butterfly...

What? Am I still talking? Who's there? OW! My eye! Why oh why did you poke me in the eye?

You know.. he seems an awful lot like Jango Fett..

They've done a lot of borrowing from the movies, and admitted as much in the recent art chat, (The Ebon Hawk is a primitive Millennium Falcon, Darth Malak is a combination of Darths Vader and Maul, etc.) so it wouldn't surprise me to find out that Jango Fett was an influence for Calo Nord.

I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, though. With as rich a history as Star Wars has, and as much backstory as the expanded universe provides, it would be hard to create completely original characters. If the game has a good story and is fun to play, I'll be happy. And from what I know of KOTOR, I'm well on my way to being happy. :)

Also, I think I read somewhere that it's possible we'll run across ancestors of characters we recognize from elsewhere, so who knows? Maybe Calo Nord is the great-great-great-blah-blah-blah-etc. grandfather of Jango Fett?

His voice really made him seem like a cheesy "bad guy" character like what you would find in a justice league cartoon. :( Kinda the "Hi! I'm gonna kill you..:)" bad guy..

Quick to the point. Pulls out blasters, squeezes trigger, he collects...

I will only have neutral and good guys in my partys. Hwever, when I do play Dark Jedi, I'll have him along with me.

It seems Carth is the good guy equivelent of him. Will Carth be the female romance, do you think?

i think he is a good addition especially if you take it from the bounty huntr/ good jedi point of view...you may be required to bring him in if you are a good jedi or one of your side quests may be to hunt him if you are a bounty hunter...all in all a win win situation
