DARK DAN Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 After playing patch 1 and the 0.4v of the game i fill that the first version is the best but what do you think and what has the most players as iam looking to fight the best?
Bilbo Skywalker Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 almost everyone uses 1.4 now, most servers run this version, and a lot of new mods will only work with 1.4, it is a necessity. and the 'best' are definately on 1.4

Break_dF Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 yes, 1.03 was more noob friendly until you got into the high lvl of play. I still like 1.03 ffa better than 1.04. I could actually beat the "good" gunners consistently.
ryudom Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 i believe the 1.05 patch is the best, you know the one where saber damage is cranked in FFA and CTF and the arial lunge is back, but you can't fly with it. aaaaahhh if only hehe

I'd say 1.03 was the most horrible thing that has ever happened to any game. But otherwise it was pretty cool. You know, except for the insane autoblocking, nerfed saber damage, lack of ammo etc. etc. But hey - 1.03 gave us the invisible absorb, which was great.
