Bounty Posted February 10, 2003 Posted February 10, 2003 oh ... my ... god! I just watched this new fan film, called "Art of the Saber" by these three Chinese guys. Doesn't have much to do with Star Wars other than the fact that they're using lightsabers, but it's an AWESOME fight! If you haven't seen it already, go the the fanfilms section of theforce.net and search for "Art of the Saber". For those of you with slow internet connections, the wait is WELL worth it!
Repta Posted February 10, 2003 Posted February 10, 2003 Caught my attention. A link would help me tons in my search of these fanfilms, though. *Hint* *Hint*
Ingrown Posted February 10, 2003 Posted February 10, 2003 The action was a little slow in my opinion. If they actually moved faster, maybe it would have been better.
Sounds Risky Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 Originally posted by Bounty I just watched this new fan film, called "Art of the Saber" by these three Chinese guys. Aren't they Korean? Though I could be wrong. No one likes my lightsaber fight . . .
Bounty Posted February 11, 2003 Author Posted February 11, 2003 Here's a link forArt of the Saber Not sure if I did that right; kinda new to forums. Anyway, the file is about 40 megs, but like I said, it's worth it! And Ingrown, I hope you were talking bout PA wars. The guys in Art of the Saber are just a bit slower than actual combat (at least, a bit slower than the admittedly small experience I have with actual sword fights suggests).
Boba Rhett Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 I think he was talking about art of the lightsaber because PA Wars is a spoof that you don't takes seriously.
Wraith 8 Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 well this fan fiilm is old right.. i already saw this one a long time ago.
Trahern Valley Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 And I'm the one who first plugged it around here.
Trahern Valley Posted February 14, 2003 Posted February 14, 2003 Troops was the first, I believe; the one that started the whole fanfilm thing off. It was a wonderful idea and a wonderfully-executed piece of work. Even though the TIEs destroying the sandcrawler sound like X-Wings...hey, who are y- <Is tasered for nitpicking>
