Luc Solar
Okay all you l337r0x0rz! What is your usual frag-rate? How many kills per minute? This is not about records (not that it would be forbidden to mention that too), but about the normal KPM you guys have. We all know that it doesn't take mad skills to get an insane KPM-ratio in a "20 newbies, all weapons game on map Raven". Let's talk about games with decent opposition and normal maps.. How good are you? What's the score that you usually get after, say...a basic 20 minute FFA / Bespin? I've noticed that I tend to get an average of about 2 kills per minute. 20 minutes = 40 kills. Usually there's max 10 players logged on. On a good day and a more crowded server the KPM is naturally higher. On a bad day in Nar Shaddaa I'm lucky if I end up with non-negative digits I know accepting all those duel challenges and not using speed or rage isn't good considering my KPM, but...who cares. Brag on, guys!
Spider AL
Ooh, good topic. I always used to play on 12-16 player limit servers, and I used to aim for 100 kills in a 20 minute match on Raven, Star Destroyer and Imp CTF. Obviously I usually just landed in the late eighties-nineties, I think I only made about fifteen-twenty centuries over the course of nine-hundred or so FFAs. So on those three maps, a rough average of four-point-something KPM. On other larger maps I usually landed in the sixties-seventies after a twenty minute match, so I guess Bespin would have been... three-point-something KPM. Not fabulous, but it was all that was required to win comfortably, most of the time. My twenty-minute record though! that was on Raven, 142 kills in twenty minutes, coming out to just over seven kills-per-minute. But of course KPM is higher in shorter games. I once made a twenty kill score limit on Imp CTF in one minute, so my highest ever KPM is 20. That's a kill every three seconds. I had that screenshot bronzed. DeTRiTiC-iQ
The other day I played a 10 player game on Raven, it was a laggy mess, but the leader got 97, I got 90 and the next player got 25. (btw it was a 15 minute game). Generally I try and play fair, with so few populated FFA servers these days its not in my interests to get kickvoted... Reborn Outcast
Well yesterday I got 135 kills in 19 min. That a heck of a lotta kills per min lol.
Jeff 42
I normally play 20 minute games. My highest kpm is on ffa_raven, but I hardly ever play that map. My last three full games on raven I've gotten 117, 122, and 130, so I guess my kpm there is typically about 6. (And when I say I hardly ever play there I mean it; one of those games was last night but the other two were months ago.) On other maps I usually get in the range of 2-4 kpm. I very rarely get less than two. I've only gotten in triple digits once that wasn't on raven, which was 107 at ffa_imperial. Of course, kpm depends a lot on the map. I tend to get more at imperial, deathstar, and ctf_bespin, and lower scores at ffa_yavin and ffa_ns_streets. The games I play in typically have about 10-18 people. But of course KPM is higher in shorter games. I once made a twenty kill score limit on Imp CTF in one minute, so my highest ever KPM is 20. Well, when the time is shown as one minute, it actually means it's between one and two minutes, so it wasn't really 20 kpm.

DC | Dark Luke
I still can`t play inet games, so i have to play Lan games:(. lllKyNeSlll
Im not sure, but in ffa guns i average 2 to 4 per min with 4 to 6 players. In sabers, I don't play ffa only ff duels. I'm not really the kill alot person but in 1v1 guns most of you don't stand a chance since mainly I'm timing armor and ammo so I waste time travelling between places. master_thomas
Just today I played two 10 minute games against bots. They are so stupid. Eight bots total. I run into a room in Raven with five guys fighting. I kill them all with three slashes in strong stance. :chop1: :chop1: This happened so much that I got a 7.2 and a 7.6 KPM. This surprises and pleases me because I don't think I'm very good player
Spider AL
Well master_thomas, whatever you do don't sell yourself short. Bots (in guns) are actually better than a lot of humans out there.
Luc Solar
Heh. Had to try that out. 20 minutes, 7 bots, map Raven. (no force..well it was on but I didn't use it.) Score 180. I'd love to try it with 32 bots, but having even 7 of them on at the same time proved to be very "laggy" for my poor comp. Hey Spidey - Why don't you try it out with 32 bots and rage+speed. Insane. Hekx
I usually get 0.00006 kills per game. I haven't been dueling as much as I used to. I usually just stand about, until someone lames me, and then I get the fun of hunting them down using Mind trick. As for games with guns, I don't know. Maybe 2/3 kills a minute. Luc Solar
20 minutes. About 15 bots. No force. These bots rock! Ph34r! (Having that many bots made gameplay like a damn slide show, though...) EDIT: that's one kill every 4,7 seconds!

Reborn Outcast
Nah bots are easy. I did a CTF run with em (10 min 20 capture limit). I got 20 flags in 7 min. Humans players are so much better, but I think I'll try the 32 bots right now and post a screenie .
Luc Solar
20 minutes is quite a long time considering the insane mayhem. I don't think I want to do that again. But I'll try a 10 minute game...and try to come up with a challenging number of frags. Let's see who is the l3373st of all! Screenies to follow. Ok. Here's the screenie. It was a close game, but in the end I managed to squeeze the points needed to win. Jan proved to be a worthy adversary. Krussk was having a bad day. Bitched all the time. "Cheater this script0rz that".. *sigh* ...some people...
Spider AL
Nah bots are easy. I did a CTF run with em Nobody ever claimed the bots are any good at CTF, Reborn. Frankly I don't think the dev team bothered too much with that part of the AI...

Luc Solar
Hmm. I edited my previous post with the screenie, but it isn't showing up for some reason(?). Anyway: The score was 140-something, so that's what you gotta beat! Rules: * 16 bots. * Map Raven * No force * No laming >>> no shooting bots while they're typing or saber down or using a smaller gun than you are or dueling with someone else or..well you know: Honourable kills only! And that naturally means no shooting in the back!
Spider AL
No force? No force guns? Pfft, boring. Jedi Master force! All bots should be Desann on the highest level of skill btw.
Luc Solar
Well, whatever - makes no difference to me. On that map force doesn't play a big role unless you're raging...what would make moving impossible for me anyways since I'm playing the "slide show-version". The only score so far (140-something) was with no force. That's the sole reason for the "rule". Don't know if there's a big difference between bots. I just chose the one's who didn't seem to spam force fields.

I got 120 WITH force on but without, they cant kill you with their lightning. I'm gonna try it without force
master_thomas
Don't know if there's a big difference between bots. I just chose the one's who didn't seem to spam force fields. I just read this and in case you want to add more rules and see who is actually the best at mass slaughter:rolleyes: . there is a difference. Everyone has a favorite forcepower, favorite weapon, and different accuracies, etc. TK-421 (Stormtrooper) is the worst at everything. In ffa he doesn't have the force, he has the worst speed, etc. and his favorite weapon is the e11 blaster. I use him to take out the anger on a bad day. Also, to SpiderAL, I'm sorry if I was offensive. I said they were unusually stupid. I average much lower, like at 3.
Reborn Outcast
Uhoh I just got 159 kills in 9 min... but i didn't know how to take a screenshot. Is it shift + PrintScreen? Cause thats what I did EDIT: I got it nevermind. It'll be up soon.
Break_dF
On servers with people that actually know how to use the keyboard, I'll get 5-7 kills on avg (when I'm not dicking around). On noob servers, that number is higher. My record still stands at 30 kills in 2 minutes. I was kicked for "scripting," shortly after. *FF saber... gunning is much quicker.
