Maybe i can purchase some right next to yours for my great great great crandchildren:D . It will be the leXX's and the Torque's. They could be neighbors. I wonder if LF will still be around. The lecture mainly concentrated on Mars of the future and how we might be able to send a manned spacecraft to Mars in the year 2020, politics willing. Unfortunately the recent shuttle accident might delay that. He talked about possible colonization and how it would be done, and how we might find life there. Nasa have recently discovered that underneath the surface of Mars, under all the rock and mineral, there is a layer of ice. The scientists believe we could find life there. He is very sceptical about Meteorite ALH84001. He says there is no proof the the bacteria like fossils are organic, and even if they are, they could well be due to Earth contamination. I actually left feeling very sorry for him. He has dedicated his life to astronomy, and just when all the good stuff is gonna start happening, he won't be around to see it. I have a signed book that accompanys the 80th Birthday Tour which is nice. Something to hand down to the kids. Overall, I had a most enlightening and enjoyable evening.
