dark jedi 8 Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 i liked the underwater parts, the only problem is that you probably cant use any weapons under water, especially the lightsabers. the trailer was just amazing though. i did have some trouble when i played it, might have to update my quicktime.

The explosions from contact with another lightsaber happen when neither saber is near the other, it looks like. Other than that, pure love for this trailer. I love some of the space-battle sequences!

FunClown Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Shouldn't really matter about bandwidth. I have 56K and just stuck out the hour and a half to download. If you get it from lucasarts, save it to cache in the quick time settings then go to windows explorer and search for *.mov or maybe *.qt hopefully that should find it.

True, it's just that scenes underwater always tend to be confusing, at least for me... I tend to get a bit lost. Of course, it's been awhile since I actually did play a scene which took place underwater, and I have full faith in the fact that Bioware will do their best to make this an entertaining scene. PS- When are you gonna get that signature image Burrie? You've got the points now. Eep, I hardly noticed I had them... thanks Hannibal, this is really appreciated! I had actually thought of doing a signature image like yours (with the ships flying by), but you beat me to it... I'll see if I can get different signature image... again, thanks for the points!

Darth Simpson Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 Quicktime has a tendency to run choppy on slower machines, that might be it. Small files should run ok, big files is going to be problematic with an older machine.
