Darth Damage Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Hello guys i am relatively new to the NJO sooooooo, can you recomend what books to read or should i start from the beginning?
Tie Guy Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 It's always best to start from the beginning, you'll understand things alot more fully.
Pnut_Man Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 The first 3 books of the NJO series are pretty damn good, I suggest reading them first Hero's Trial is pretty damn boring, don't pick that up.. Be sure to also read the Edge of Victory duo and Balance Point as well!
swphreak Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Read them all in order so as to not be confused in future books. I think they're all awesome books.
Darth Damage Posted March 18, 2003 Author Posted March 18, 2003 does the series start with vector prime?
wassup Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 Click here for a complete list of all NJO books already or currently in production. Also, I advise you not to read Dark Journey, as it is IMHO downright boring. Read Traitor though, that is a VERY good book.
Darth Damage Posted March 19, 2003 Author Posted March 19, 2003 cool thanks a lot for the help guys i will go to the book store and pick some of these up!! maybe i will finish the series when i get into the marines, to pass some time.
dark jedi 8 Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 thanks for the list wassup, i was also thinkin about catching up on the NJO!
SkiTzoGuy Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 I like to read the beginning of the series. cause if you don't youll kind of get lost or confused.. But i like the first five books they were pretty ok.
Shotokan Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 i too recommend starting from the beginning. i first stared reading balance point an got completely lost... i was like... whos the yuuzhan vong? lol... anyway it also helps to start reading the books BEFORE the first book of the new jedi order series.
