tk-1130
I just got Jedi Knight II. Its a bit clumsy to me to play using the jkeyboard and the mouse together. How is gameplay with a joystick? If I use a Playstation/xbox style controller will it make gameplay easier?
Taos
I'm not really sure....I just use the keyboard and I think it's pretty easy. See, I used to have an xbox and I also had JO and I believe that it's much easier on the keyboard.

Prime
Keyboard and mouse is the bomb yo! Really, I'd think that playing with a gamepad would be pretty difficult.

With a gamepad you just can't play, it sucks. Though i played unreal in a DC once with a gamepad and kicked ass, but it was cuz the other guys sucked

Tosh_UK
Also I would say remap some of the more used keys close to your movment keys.. that way you can still move and hit keys like jump duck use force and such.
Luc Solar
Keyboard + mouse is the only way to go. I personally prefer to have all my keys mapped around the keypad. 8 is forward, 5 back, 4 left and 6 right. Around those keys you got 15+ free keys to assign to force powers and whatever you want. Works great, and puts my wrists in an ergonomic position ("^"-like) when I move the left side of the keyboard a bit forward. (The W-A-S-D setup is for n00bs. ) Try it. Having force powers, etc. around you movement keys is so important for success. Easy access
