Feral
What would your ideal band/group be right now (i.e. with all the members living)? Here's mine: Vocals: Corey Taylor (Stone Sour, Slipknot) A god in my eyes...I wouldn't have him doing any of his Slipknot screaming, though. Alternative Vocalist: Nate (Finch) I just think he's a great singer, and he has a superb range. Guitar: John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Carries the band nowadays, but that's no bad thing when you're as talented as John. Superb guitarist, and probably the best contempary six-stringer. Guitar: Daron Malakian (System of a Down) or James Root (Stone Sour, Slipknot) Malakian would bring a different edge to the group, but Jim's solos always connect with me. Bass: Shawn Economaki (Stone Sour) or Stuart Richardson (Lostprophets) Shawn would be a good addition because of his writing skills, though Stuart is a better pure musician and businessman. Drums: Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Queens of the Stone Age) I wanted to stick Joey Jordison on drums, but I just had to have Dave Grohl in the group...he's a legendof modern music. How about you guys?
Remi
I always suck at stuff like this, but anyway, sticking to contemporary stuff: Vocals - Ruth Minnikin (Heavy Blinkers) (though it could might as well be Rachel Goswell or Neko Case) Guitar/vocals - Chris Gunst (Beachwood Sparks) Slide/vocals - Neil Halstead (Mojave 3) Keyboards/vocals - Scott McCaughey (Minus 5) Bass - Alex James (Blur) Drums - John Convertino (Calexico)

Acrylic
HMM...I dunno. Vocals: Scott Stapp from Creed Alt. Vocals: That lead singer from Lighthouse Guitar: Mark Tremonti from Creed Bass: Flea from Read Hot Chili Peppers Drums: That drummer from Linkin Park Special FX: The DJ from Linkin Park See, I mean, this is what I think now. I'd have to think hard for it to be perfected.
murta
Lead Vocals: Dustin Kensrue (Thrice) Backup Vocals: Al Rumjen (King Prawn) Guitar: Clark (Rufio) Guitar: Kris(Funeral For A Friend) Bass: Jay (Belvedere) Drums: my friend Luke Hamilton (Late Confession) Oh and just to piss Rufio off: The Mars Volta suck ass
NiKo
in my opinion, Vocals - Jonathan Davis (Korn) it was obvious i'd pick him since the man is like a god to me Guitar - Dave Mcpherson (InMe) you cant argue, the guy is goooood! Guitar- Jerry Horton (Papa Roach) whilst i'm not too in love with the band itself, (just a few songs) i must say that Horton is a great guitarist... Bass - Krist Novoselic (Nirvana) no reason really...he's just good...i'd say flea, but wanted to be original Drums - John Dolmayan (System of a Down) That man knows how to serve up a beat! Guybrush122
Bud Gough - Drums [sublime/LBDA] An absolutely amazing drummer. One of the best. Got a real passion for california punk and reggae, and is one of those drummers who are so good that they know when not to play. Yeah, you heard right. Eric Wilson - Bass [sublime/LBDA] Freaking fantastic bass. Freaking FREAKING amazing. What an improviser...truely the backbone of his previous band Sublime. He would do wonders for any kind of band. Wonders. El Hefe - Guitar [NOFX] This guy can pound out some serious riffage. Has a real taste for ska and hardcore punk and would mesh well with Bud and Eric considering they both love Ska as well as listen to bands like Black Flag and, tada, NOFX. Tim Armstrong - Guitar/Vocals [Op. Ivy/Rancid] This guy can not only wail, but haul ass on guitar as well. In his early days as Lint in Operation Ivy, he was a great guitarist and slammed out some great skapunk tunes. His ska was fast, in your face, and classic rock inspired. Gotta love it. Deadmeat_X
I would fill in something, but first I hardly know any names, so it'd be like : that guy from Audioslave, and second, I can't tell one guitar-player from the other...
