Deadmeat_X Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 This is pretty weird...last time I was having a conversation with someone and I realised that I was looking at his...teeth. You'd suspect something like his eyes or some, but I always look at someone's teeth when talking...I'm such a freak Anyway, what part of the face (or body) do you look at when in a conversation? And if you're wondering: yes, i'm bored. [edit] noted some of you had sigpics again...how?[/edit]
NiKo Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 i think i look at their lips {edit} and sometimes at their boobs
Real Slim Santa Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Deadmeat, what if the person you are talking to doesn't have any teeth? What do you look at then?
Joshi Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 I looks at the eyes. the eyes are the window to the soul, and i like to sneak a peak at it when it's changing . and we get sig images with store credits.
RicardoLuigi... Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 what does getting a sig image have to do with anything? anyway, i don't look into the eyes, unless it's like a family member or something. otherwise, i kind of look at the mouth/nose region. probably so it seems like i'm actually looking at their eyes. i dunno. that is a pretty good question, though.
Yufster Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 I ALWAYS look into peoples eyes and I've tried to stop but I can't. The teachers are freaked out because when they're lecturing the class I'm looking into THEIR EYES, WITH MY EYES. It's like, something I especially try NOT to do with male teachers. And then they look at you wondering why you're looking at them and you're like, looking away and they;re like, is there something on my face and you're like, Er, oh this wall is interesting today.
Deadmeat_X Posted May 14, 2003 Author Posted May 14, 2003 Right Neil now try explaining it to me (iow, keep it as simple as possilbe)
Joshi Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 Okay, well basically, we get two credits for each post we...um... post 0o. If you go to the store, and, if you have enough credits (unfortunatley, 900 for a sig image, took me a while) then buy what you want.
RicardoLuigi... Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 Okay, well basically, we get two credits for each post we...um... post 0o. If you go to the store, and, if you have enough credits (unfortunatley, 900 for a sig image, took me a while) then buy what you want. BUT WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING RELATING TO THIS THREAD?!?!?!?!?!
Yufster Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 Because when we post on this thread we get points. Not to be off topic, but I know a person that looks at their legs when he's talking.
Deadmeat_X Posted May 15, 2003 Author Posted May 15, 2003 OMG cheap bastards... Anyway I basically asked it here cuz it was faster then creating another topic...lazy...
Kjølen Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Strange, I just realized a little while ago, before this thread, that I too, look at their teeth often.
Alia Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Cool, I get 2 credits for telling everyone that I tend to look at different things when I'm talking. Whenever I'm not wearing glasses I don't see anything, eliminating the problem - but oh, I've got a LONG way to go before I can use these credits for anything.
Branik Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 Around here (Finland) it's thought to be kind and polite to look straight at the other person's eyes when in a conversation, so that's what I do.
RicardoLuigi... Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 i think that's polite everywhere, though. but i guess not everybody's polite, then. go finland!!! (i'm 50% finnish)
Al-back from the BigWhoop Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 i never really payed any attention to that, but i guess i look at everywhere, specially in the face NOT IN THE FACE! NOT IN THE FACE!!!
Branik Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Actually Mole, it isn't that polite everywhere. I've heard lots of times people complain about me "staring". Cultural differences. 50% Finnish?
