One thing I notice is that how each time you see a shot of the PC and the other party memebers.......is that in each pic, the main pc seems to be different, like they're showing off a customization part of the game.

Strongly doubt it. If that worked then you wouldn't even have to fight it and you could possibly even turn it against your enemies. :nut:

We didn't ever see Luke try it against the rancor did we? Nope. I strongly doubt that one.

And....Juhani kind've freaks me out. I think I'll use her just to say I've used her enough and get some story out of her then she'll collect dust on the hawk. Unless she's just uber cool. :D

OT-- Do you two have mIRC downloaded? That's how most of us get to the chat room. :)

Of course she's uber cool... she's a female Cathar and a Jedi, and they are VERY capable in combat, with or without their lightsabers. Perhaps a bit prone to get angry every now and then, but I'm sure that our PC can keep her in check.

(quietly begints to chants "please let Juhani mention Sylvar, please let Juhani mention Sylvar")

She gets mad easy, eh? I think I just figured out a good time to use her. :D

What is this Sylvar you speak of though?

And I am sure I can keep her in check. Or I'll let Zaalbar and HK do it for me. ;):p

Also What makes the Cathar so formidable in battle?

*goes to do some research* :)

Sylvar was, just like Juhani, a female Cathar Jedi. Her first appearance was in the first issue in the Dark Lords of the Sith where she engaged Exar Kun during a practice session, and gave him a scar on his cheek that he would have for the rest of the series. She received a few cameo appearances throughout the rest of the Dark Lords of the Sith series, but mysteriously dissapears after the battle of Deneba.

She would return in the Sith War series as an active part of the Jedi heroes. Her mate, the Cathar Crado, would be swayed by Exar's words and went to his side. Crado never truly went dark, he was pretty much misguided. Sylvar would continually battle against Exar's Massassi forces, would battle her own mate Crado at one point... in the end, her mate Crado was slain, which was an awful event for her... Cathar choose their mates for live, and now that Crado had fallen, Sylvar would never bear childeren.

Her anger and bitterness would grow throughout the years, and would reach its highest peak in the Redemption series, 10 years later. She calls upon the Jedi to hunt down Ulic Qel-Droma, whom she views as the murderer of her mate... she tries to keep her anger in check by helping out a fellow Jedi called Tott Doneeta by meditating a peace treaty between two twi'lek clans... but she reveals her agressiveness when she calls upon one clan to battle the other. Only the diplomatic skills of Doneeta manages to prevent the blodshed. Sylvar would return to her home planet of Cathar where she undergoes a blood hunt to try and quence her anger... in the end, it only makes it worse. Finally, she decides that she can only have peace if Ulic is killed... she learns his whereabouts at Rhen Var from a space pilot, and engages Qel-Droma in battle... in the end, Ulic manages to reveal her foolishness to her, and she quietly forgives Ulic. A fewmoments later, Ulic is murdered without warning by the space pilot whom was trying to make a name of himself.

Quite frankly, I really liked her character in the Tales of the Jedi... she has an agressiveness that was not seen by any other knights in the series, yet seemed to have some sense of honor. Sylvar is a legend on her home planet, which is why I hope to hear Juhani at least speak off her... it would be a nice nod to continuity.

For more information regarding Sylvar, I recommend this link.

And I am sure I can keep her in check. Or I'll let Zaalbar and HK do it for me.

Good luck... I hope you don't mind if I watch from a safe distance?

:p

Also What makes the Cathar so formidable in battle?

Mmmm, I might've done a bit of a generalisation here... I pretty much granted that all the Cathar were formidable because of the combat skills that Sylvar showed. I guess I was a bit too hasty here :D
