Great minds think alike. ^_^

I see no one is going gray or neutral yet?

And, welcome to the forums !Darth Malak!

I plan on going through it on the darkside my first time, we've been playing games for so long where we're are the good guy and now I have a chance to go to the darkside, you better believe I'm gonna go darkside.

The 2nd time around I'm 100% light side, mr. perfect role model jedi. Saving the galaxy one sith at a time.

Then I will play through a third time and just play the character as myself and see what happens, i'll try to lean a lil towards nuetral to see what happens.

Och, you could also simply play the game, and see where you'll end up. That might be an interesting journey as well.

The more I think about it, the more I say I'm going to do exactly that.......just play the game and see what happens. Though I have a feeling that it will be more towards the light side! :D

That's what I'm going to try as well. My plans are to be a Light Jedi, as I expect my first character to be a supporter of the Republic, kinda like Luke Skywalker. But as the developers said, you would apparantly feel justified to using the Dark Side.

To be honest, I've also been a lot more curious concerning the Dark Side... I mean, surely a Republic Mandalorian War hero like Saul Karath should have a good reason for joining the Sith Empire... which is exactly what? I have a feeling that whatever purpose he has, might influence our decision as well.

Naah Leemu. You'll be evil. :p

I actually forgot about your strategy, Burrie. I don't know how I did that because it is such a cool way to go. It almost shows what type of Jedi you would be. Or in Leemu's case, what kind of sith you would be. :D

So I have now updated how I will play:

1. Complete goody-goody light sider.

2. As evil as it gets Dark sider.

3. Just playing and seeing where it takes me.

4. Staying as neutral as possible.

5. Non-Jedi if at all possible.

After that I'll just have to see what I enjoyed the most or if there are more ways to go through. :)

Yeah, Com would probabaly be more evil then Leemu.

Dang nice guys.....

I did hear about this guy named Hannibal though. The most evil guy ever from what I hear.

:p

Back on topic:

Does anyboy actually think it will be possible to go through the game non-Jedi style?

I think it will to an extent, but there will always be those times when you have to have the saber. What do you all think? :)

I think Bioware should make it not overly difficult to go non-saber style at least..the thing is once you become a Jedi it might make it harder to pick other skills outside the Jedi character class.

I would like to be somewhat of a trigger happy, force assisted merc guy some time down the road tho :duel2:

heh, well I will try to be a good Jedi first time through, tho I suspect that Bioware may put some very tempting and funny insults in there, as well as the serious stuff. Then I'll juggle the NPCs around and see who will fit with my brooding anti-hero, then do some more NPC shuffling with my trigger happy merc guy, then...then....then....well hopefully the sequel will come out by the time I finish that:D

Like several others, I intend to just play the first time through. Hopefully that will take me to the Light Side. I may also play as a neutral Jedi. I probably won't ever play as a non-Jedi. Being a Jedi is the best feature of the game for me :D

Having watched the recent trailer featuring Darth Malak, I don't think I would ever play a game to completion on the Dark Side. I think you probably have to do some truly evil things that I just wouldn't enjoy playing through :(

I think I'll try to do good things but use evil to do them. Example:

If somebody asks me to save their whatever and the persons who rescue the whatever demand some randsom or just some understanding I'll just force choke them instead (evil) and save the whatever and bring it back to the person who asked me to save it (good). I still think it would be considered light side despite the FChoke

EXACTLY!

jedi3112 said it spot on, i won't go right out of my way to be evil, i just may do things in a evil way, like if the people who wanted the money said give us 10 pieces of gold, i'd just kill them and take whatever i wanted, brutal but effective.

I just read a 4 page uh I dunno I'm too tired to remember thing on IGN and it said that there can be up to a dozen different ways to play the game .. then again this article was like last month buut who knows. For me its ...

1- Light side with the character I already came up with

2- Dark side with some new dude

3- Myself with .. another new dude

4- Neutral

5- Play the game again because I know it probably is gonna be fun :D

6- Repeat steps 1-5

Yup I'm set
