*Misae heads for her room, alone, and puts herself into a trance, blocking out everything around her.

Marin, still in morph, lies with the orbs around her.

Aidan waits by Marin, giving the impression he stayed out of a sense of duty more than deeply caring. Offhand he would glance at Josine, still lying in a coma.

Guy retreats to his ship, giving no hint to what he was thinking. If the Aesir had looked at the devices monitoring his ship, they would've found a dark, shielded area where his ship hovered.

Raschel finds Orthos, wanting a familiar face nearby*

Orthos: Seems like so long ago now that we were just a bunch of misfits who got put in the same flight of Wraith Squadron, eh? Now look at us. Mythical Avatars, world crossing, time travel. We're hardly the same people that left. And now I have a cousin. And she's not evil. That makes a change.

Raschel: I...I almost wish it was like it was back then. Sure, there were alot of downsides...alot. But my friends, all of them, were there for me. Now they're all gone. Everyone's gone. Except you. And I'm afraid, Orthos. TIEs, I know what to do with. The Empire...it was something I knew how to beat. But the end of the galaxy... *she laughs half-bitterly*

*Orthos feels a strengthening presence within*

Orthos: The end can never truly come. Even when all seems lost, it is when the greatest among us emerge. Do not abandon to misery and despair. For when you do, those like me will cease to exist. And then nothing can be done

*Raschel doesn't speak for a moment*

Raschel: I don't care what one of *you* have to say. I want to talk to Orthos. I can't help but wonder, if you creatures hadn't interfered in the first place, would any of this had happened?

----------

*Marin feels as if she is floating in a fog, numb. Slowly the clouds clear, and her thoughts begin to attach themselves to each other again*

What's happening...why can't I feel anything...

*She moves one of the lava creature's enormous hands*

That doesn't make any sense...why am I made of r... *Suddenly her thoughts coalsce with sharp clarity* ...oh God, I'm still in morph!

*After a moment of blind panic, she focuses on a mental image of her own body, hoping it wasn't too late*

If I've been asleep over two hours...I'll be stuck forever...no coming back...no, don't think that, concentrate...

*After a few seconds, the rock-hard pieces of her body begin to shift, creak and shrink. Slowly, over about a minute and a half, the dark color of dried lava on her skin changes to pale brown, her eyes change from red to chestnut, and the enormous creature she had become changes back to that of a small, mostly human girl*

Orthos: If you seek the cause, look to Heimdall's people. We're just trying to get this mess cleaned up. Did you ever think that maybe we didn't have to help mortals? But that's what we do. We need you as much as you need us. So don't yell at me. It's not my fault I can't talk anymore. And...Orthos won't remember this bit...but if this didn't happen....he would die.

*Orthos returns to normal*

Orthos: I'm sorry. It's finding it hard to cope. The Avatar is fearing Ragnarok. I don't know what it said, but I see it troubled you. We'll make it. We'll stop this. And then... well...I guess I've got some of my Atredian Birthright left. I'm going to go live there. Maybe you could...see me sometime....

*Guy walks into the room* The map has changed. It looks like we're heading for a planet named Enoy.

Raschel: *sighing* What's on Enoy?

Guy: A small mining colony. Small enough that the Aesir never destroyed it, it seems. It's one of the colonies furtherst into what you call the Outer Rim here.

Raschel: We should find the others.

*Elella arrives*

Elella: So what's the deal with this place?

Orthos: Don't know. I don't think I...

---------------------------------------------

Flashback

*A room on Byss. Orthos is about 13. Syrnl is looking at a galatic map with one of his apprentices*

Syrnl: There. Send him there. Maybe the mines of Enoy will contain the chaos. And maybe we'll need him someday

---------------------------------------------------

....ever heard of it....

((OOS: Weirdness - that name isn't supposed to mean anything, but crystals ARE supposed to be mined there...did I unconsciously use an actual planet name?))

Guy: According to the archives I have access to, several different kinds of rare crystals are among the materials mined there. So perhaps some of these are 'sabre crystals'. *He heads out the door* I'm going to the sickbay, to alert the others.

((My answer: what.))

*With no urgent demands Heimdall goes to the upper level on the Asgardreid to relax. He enters the observation lounge and looks down at his left arm. The sleeve was ripped and the fabric was stained with blood.

Heimdall carefull pulls up His sleeve to reveal a nice gash. He must have gotten that during the commotion with the Sith, or maybe with the dwarves. Didn't really matter.

He continues to examine it when Svafa and Idun walk in. Idun is visibly drained and immediatly sits down with Savfa's help. Svafa then turns to Heimdall, see's his wound and goes over to him.*

Svafa: Let me see your arm.

Heimdall: It isn't that bad, I'll be fine.

Svafa: I'm sure it is but I still want to take a look at it.

Heimdall: Fine.

*Heimdall lays his arm on the center table and Svafa looks and it moving his arm around gently. She sees something pulling out som tweezers she gently pulls out a fragment of what looks like molten rock. She drops it on the table and looks for more, but finds none, and the Asgardried confirms that nothing else was in the wound. Svafa then bandages the wound.*

Svafa: Well your lucky, that fragment could have caused you to lose your arm. There will be a nice scar there but otherwise you will be find. I also would say to keep it easy.

*Heimdall looks at the fragment and then tosses it aside*

Heimdall: It's one of Hel's darts. I thought I caught a brief glimpse of her before the commotion.

((OOS: Show of hands...who thinks it's close to end-time for Part Three and time to start Part Four already? ^_~

*honestly doesn't except any replies to this until much after Christmas, but posting anyway :D))

*Guy finds the others in the sickbay and tells them what he told Orthos and the others. Next he goes to find Heimdall and Svafa*

[Ok, get your cliffhangers going!]

-------------------------------------------

Enoy, Mines

*A large figure squats in a cave, mumuring to himself. Then suddenly, he stands up, and looks up to a hole where the starlight floods in*

????: He's coming. He's finally coming for us.
