RicardoLuigi...
probably the best show ever in my book (along w/battle of the sexes and the mole), but this thread is to post (in no particular order) your 3 favorite episodes. and if you've never seen seinfeld, you need to. and if you want to, post why it's your favorite episode. 1. the soup nazi one: "don't make me hurt you jerry" "you're through, soup nazi. pack it up. no more soup for you. NEXT!!!" 2. the one where jerry can't remember his girlfriends name. "you don't know my name, do you?" "of course i do." "what is it?" "it rhymes with a part of the female anatomy." "what is it?" "...mulva?..." 3. the one where elaine becomes the head of peterman's company because he's in burma/myanmar. "it's the urban sombrero." and "i want each of you to come back with four ideas each by six o clock, no, wait, make that six ideas each by four o clock. GO!!!" seinfeld is just priceless. murta
Seinfeld is absolutely one of the worst comedy shows I have ever seen. The only people that find it slightly funny are New Yorkers or rednecks. It just plain sucks
Darth Groovy
Seinfeld is the FUNNIEST sitcom ever made, and was the only one that never got serious in the end. I cried when they Jerry put an end to the show, but at least he went out on top. My favorite episode is the one with the "soup nazi", and was also the first one I saw. These days from time to time, I watch the re-runs and occasionally see one I never saw, and decided they are all brilliantly funny as well. Best sitcom ever, no matter what murta thinks...... murta
I've watched so many episodes and I've not even laughed once, it's pathetically bad. I like alot of American sitcoms but Seinfeld plain sucks and if you think it's the best sitcom ever you could do with watching some British comedies

Natty
Brit comedy rules. I've been having a craving for Press Gang lately. Not really a comedy but oh well.

No one gets Australian humour I don't think. I find Australian humour hilarious, try and explain it to a Brit or American it goes right over their head. I guess they were expecting me to sound like Steve Irwin
murta
I don't think we get any Australian comedies here really, we get a few soaps (Neighbours, Home & Away, Shortland Street etc.) but off the top of my head can't think of any comedies

My favorite British Comedy ever is Monty Python's Flying Circus, which is even more superior to Seinfeld. I guess the humor is regional, but I live in the city, and get most of the jokes, so I guess it is a regional thing. However, with Monty, the jokes are timeless and have nothing to do with where you live, it is just plain senseless dry humor, which I love.... *sings the gay lumberjack song*

Joshi
And then here I am, right smack damn in the middle. Because although I think british comedy is simply the definition of comedy and is pretty much the best around (I'd love to see an american sitcom attempt to parallel something like Only Fools and Horses, or indeed Monty Python). I also like Seinfeld **ducks** now there was no need to throw that! But yeah, I guess you have to have a certain sense of humour to like it and considering I have multiple personalities, I can laugh at it and still love british comedy. But I have seen that the majority of people who love Seinfeld (I don't love it, I can just laugh at it sometimes) are those who can't see the inherrent humour in Red Drawf. Oh well, you win some, you lose some... Kryton roolz!
Feral
I don't really liek Seinfeld all that much either. I think I've seen about 3 decent episodes out of the 30 or so that I've seen, so I really don't see the charm. Blackadder is the best comedy show of all time, full stop, particularly the 3rd and 4th incarnations. Monty Python is an odd one for me; there are some episodes that I laugh all the way through and even afterwards just thinking about it, but there's also a number of episodes I've seen that don't even make me smile. Ah, well...
COJ
I think Seinfeld is the best sitcom ever..period Sure, I don't watch much TV, and I havn't seen anything else beside Friends or Everybody loves Raymond, but boy does Seinfeld cheer up my boring and depressive days George is my god
Yufster
Seinfield is the most awful sitcom besides Sex in the City, I'VE EVER SEEN. I hate Sex in the City too.
