Jedi Apprentice
Well, I've been looking at some other VB forums recently and noticed all the small customization details they have done that really make the forums better, specifically the reply and new thread buttons. For every forum or "style" they have personalized buttons. For example: The One Style: Ice: Aragorn: You get the picture. Now for LF you could just have it where each seperate forum had their own reply and new thread buttons. Example being that the Star Wars forums could have Vader buttons, JKII have Kyle katarn buttons, etc. The reason for wanting this is that if you make the buttons match the look of the forums then it just makes the graphical appeal that much better. The regular VB buttons look quite bland, IMO. I just thought I would throw out this opinion. Tell me what you think. Note: All pictures were taken from The One Edit: The pics showed up like that when I posted, but I think you get my idea. If not, go look at the forum. -=ReApEr=-
Sounds good to me, but it's really up to each forum in my opinion where ever they want to have custom buttons. Some forums like it to be easy for them. But otherwise i wouldn't mind seeing some custom buttons doing some trials.
ZBomber
I actually like the buttons, but change would be good.

Agreed, but maybe each forum should do a poll seeing if the members of it, want custom buttons.

I was hoping someone would say that..... Yes the boards do look fine, but why not even further enhance the looks? What could it hurt? The only place you can really go is up from the regular buttons. It looks better and further expands the experience, IMO. I guess some people don't like change....
Lynk Former
Because the folks who run LF have better things to do Believe me there's a lot of behind the scenes work going on...
Jedi Apprentice
*swallows lump in throat* I understand your point, Lynk. Maybe someone like Darky could make them? Someone with graphical expertise? Then it wouldn't take the admin 2 minutes to put the buttons into some of the different forums. It's perfectly fine with me if this doesn't happen (like that matters ), but it's just an idea I thought I would throw out there.

Yeh, the mad admins don't have the same mad skills as my Darky. *runs from Rhett* Anyways, I support the idea. Maybe have some *cough Darky cough* make some buttons, then present them to the admins and see what they think.
-=ReApEr=-
Sounds good, if we all make some buttons and post them up and see if anyone likes them.
