Crazy_dog no.3
Saw it yesterday! Didn't get round to watch it in the cinema but decided to rent it. IT IS AMAZING! After Saving Private Ryan war movies have taken a turn for the grittier. Enemy At The Gates (not a great or accurate movie but still enjoyable), etc. Black Hawk Down is definetely a gritty and voilent film that adds to the "war is hell" viewpoint. It is like 1 big firefight with an extremely high body count. The only complaint I would have is the characters becuase there is a lot of them and most aren't covered properly. But perhaps they are, and it's just gunfire that muffles thier voices. Comment.
Rogue15
I also saw this movie recently. Best war movie ever, imo. Second being SPR. I liked the music in it, and am considering buying the soundtrack....
Zygomaticus
Personally, I didn't think the movie was that great. For that matter, I didn't think it was so bad, either. SPR still takes the cake for my favorite War movie
