obi1138 Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 They say that the gameplay is about 40-60 hours. Do you fall into that range, or do you take your time, or are you a speed demon?
JedEye Knight Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 I'll probably fall into the middle or 50 hours the first time I play, then second time maybe even longer, and then the third time they said it can also be 80 hours if u do everything soo ... hehehehe third time is 80 hours
Jedi Apprentice Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 For most games, it just depends, but if this game turns out like it should (it will), I will probabaly play closer to 80 hours. That means, talking to everything, doing every quest, etc. The devs said it can take as long as you want so I'm probabaly around there the first time. If I keep playing through (I will) then the ranges will probabaly vary afterwards. I feel I will spend a lot of time on this game.
obi1138 Posted July 2, 2003 Author Posted July 2, 2003 For Me I really don't know. I don't know if anyone has played Shenmue 1 or 2, but I think KOTOR is going to be like it but better. It took me Only THREE DAYS to complete it. I only slept for three hours. I think I'm going to take my time with KOTOR because it's STAR WARS and soak every thing in.
Eets Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 You kidding me?? It'll take me at LEAST 40 hours to stare and drool at the first landscape!

StarScream423 Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 I will take as long as I can, I will make sure I explore everything that I can think of before I get to the "no return" part of the game. I want to make this game last, I want it to last an hour for every dollar I pay for it, I'm Canadian so it should be a lot
Burrie Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 I have honestly no idea what I'll do. Yes, I will probably take on a few sidequests, and I'll probably take my time to modify my weapons/lightsaber to their fullest potential. But the first time, I will simply play through it the way I see fit. If I'm on a very imporant quest, say saving someone from certain death, I won't take my sweet time for it and help a little old lady cross the road, for example. Also, if I see that I'm about to embark to the point of no return, I'll make a savegame, but continue the quest to its ending. When I start to take on too many subquests, I tend to loose focus of the main plot. Plus, you didn't see Luke Skywalker helping a Jawa collect his lost sabacc cards in the movies, did you?
covenant_bad Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 I imagine ill want to keep the pace fast enough to make every minute of the game interesting but to too fast as to ignore the beauty and time taken.
Taos Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 I'm going to take my time and try to do everything possible to experience this game that will be so incredible! I can't wait!
DracoFXB Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 I don't know, but I can tell you that when I play through the second time as my darkside character, I would be closer to 80 hours.
Calda Raric Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 I'll play through it the first time like I was really the character I would hopefully be a light jedi and exsplore everything, but the second time I'm going to be a darkdark evil mean jedi.
