The Count
Hi I really need this because I have aload of Bitmaps that are HUGE (5MB each) that I need to cut down on, so anyone know of a tool that will convert them quickly from Bitmap images into JPEGs without having to save as all 1000+ of them. KBell
can't you just right-click, re-name them and change their extension from Bmp to JPeg? Works for me i think.
Boba Rhett
No. I assure you that that does NOT work for you or anyone else. You can download a free trial version of Jasc Paint Shop Pro.
fallen[fk]
The best utility for doing this, as you can do 1000's of conversions in a simple batch load, all at once, is ACDSee 5.0 by ACD Systems. There is a trial/shareware version I believe.

coupes.
sure all of these programs work if you do it manually, but he said he had over 1000 pics to convert. so i'd recommande ACDSee, apparently it works fine, but I can't support that since i never tried it. However, if you have photoshop, you can also do it pretty easily.

If you clean those out all pics should save in their proper format.
