Guybrush122
Yup, Dominique Armato was more talented than I thought. I recently visited the Scummbar and found their pages dedicated to the download of the Monkey Island soundtracks...some songs on which, have been modified, left out, or improved in quality. Neato stuff. Anyway....the REAL point of this, is that on the Curse of Monkey Island soundtrack, there's a downloadable file called "Dominique Armato's Demo Tape" This is purely hysterical. Couldn't stop laughing. At some point, I couldn't believe it was all done by the same guy.... Go HERE: http://www.scummbar.com/mi2/site/mi3st1.html and download Dom Armato's demo tape for a nice laugh!
Tahnee
Yeah, I downloaded that a few days ago. I couldn't believe he was doing all those voices, either. The "I love the smell of cordite..." one cracks me up every time. Definitely worth a download.
Gabez
Hee yes, that's great. I'm glad in EMI they gave Dominic Armato a bit more of a chance to try out something else from his acting spectrum, with the "hey baby" lines and all that. Also, you've just reminded me that I need to download all of those soon. :~
Joshi
Wow, I didn't know the Scumm Bar had done that (that's it, I'm checking in more often now). looks like it's time to rehaul the sounds on my computer again (the ell pollo diablo bit is getting a bit old as a startup sound now). My god that was goo,d dominic armato is like a one man show. Hey, here's an idea, how about we all do that, record ourselves doing different voices and then post them up here. You'd better do it! Ernil
(the ell pollo diablo bit is getting a bit old as a startup sound now). I'm sorry that it's off topic, but i was wondering how to change that startup sound? I've been trying to figure it out for a week or so.

It's a hopeless mission. Hehehe, that was great. "You've already eaten the rice pudding?.....well then I wouldn't go reading any two-part stories." I've been trying to figure it out for a week or so. Yes, it is off topic. But I'm not that mean. Go to the control panel (I'm assuming you're using windows) and click on sounds and audio devices (I've got XP so it may be different for you, I don't know), click on the sounds tab and the rest is easy. Guybrush122
Personally, I think the "cordite" and "rice pudding" bits are the funniest. Then again I love the old man talking about the internet and the film noir detective voice.... God, what a talent. As for Neil's idea...I think it's great...start a thread, dude!
