meh, sometimes a games physics dont make the game special. For example, Unreal 2, had fantastic graphics ( in my opinion the best graphics for any game right now that is avalable) but it also had an absolutly terrible storyline that was bland and tastless. Deus Ex never had all-star graphics, but the games Storyline was fantastic and totally immerse me in its gameplay.

 

 

Fallout series never had any graphics worth mentioning at all, but the storyline,in my opinion, is the best storyline i have encountered.

 

So its really up to the player, not the game, that decides whether a game is worth playing or not.

like i said its really up to the player, not the game, who decides whether the game is worth playing. As you'll see from my example, Unreal 2 lacked a story but definetly did not lack graphics and physics. If your a person who just enjoys graphics and physics over a nice story, then thats just you, but i prefer a better story over all those.

Yeah. Storylines are important. But not the most important in most FPS(as the multiplayer is usually more fun). Besides,Half-life2 will have one of the best storylines for a FPS.
