    I'm pretty sure all LucasFilm Games/LucasArts Collector editions had these cards "promised", and it would only be logical: LRG put 9 SCUMM games on sale and leave only one without a card, which isn't even the last one? Zak was the last one (the date of closing orders was April 23th) and it comes with his trading card! Also, that blog post clearly says: "any Limited Run numbered release that opened pre-orders before April 1st, 2023 will still come with cards as promised. No existing orders made before that date will be impacted!" It's a downer.

    No, there wasn't. This page posted March 15, 2023 talks about why not: https://limitedrungames.com/blogs/news/limited-run-shipping-initiatives-2023 -- briefly, the delay waiting for cards to be printed would hold up release of games otherwise ready to ship. I don't know whether RtMI was not considered a "numbered release" and therefore no card was "promised" in the first place, or if it was either forgotten or quietly dropped because the cutoff date of April 1, 2023 was close to when they opened the pre-orders for it.
