  3. Well, I didn't have an accident. I'm suffering from a depression. Badly infact, as 2 weeks ago, I tried to take my own life... Didn't work out as I planned. Trying to go on like nothing happened just made me crash.

     

    Though that's what happened. Being in the hospital has done me good. Very good even. I've got my more unstable moments; but lets say I'm starting to see the positive in life again.

    Though at this point, you can't do much, there is still a lot 3D that needs to get finished before, anybody can do decent placing of objets, NPCS etc and scripts... and all.

     

    I will keep you in mind and like that you can train your skills even further ;)

    Could we for fun add a quick shot in off a cloacked Predator.

    Using the heavy armour model and a nice mask model, we could da sort of easter egg thing. Flashing the eyes and the little sound effect...

     

    Méh, just a loose thought/ crazy idea ;)

  11. Well me and GM had a try at it awhile ago aswell.

     

    GM noticed there was a sort of second "walkmesh", its stays white and it doesn't need to be compiled to a .wok .

     

    Anyway, I think where at a dead-end as I fear we don't have any TOOL that does it correctly. MDLops doesn't handle this kind of things and MagnusII told me more then once that there are still some fields left in the Mesh properties he doesn't now what they are for. So Kaurora kind of skips these when compiling to Binanry.

     

    So it could very well be we already did the correct steps, but are unable to get it IN.

  14. Aaah, the Telos textures; I remember your thread, as I once played around with that texture you've highlighted red. Not sure why I never continued mess'n around with it :confused:

     

    The buildings in the backdrop, use regular Telos textures, altering those would alter a whole lot around the station, not just the backdrop. Anyway, I'll have peek down my HD, to see if I can dig up what I was working on.

  15. Euh; yeah... I get carried away sometimes when I make 3D stuff. It's that 2048x2048 comes out nicer when I render :lol:

     

    True, you don't see much of the details in the game... So it's a bit over the top. It'll be better to reduce the size. And yes, that black line on the spirals shouldn't be there! There some other black lines on other bits of the hilts to. But it's rather tiny... I guess they stick out more for me. Working all that time on an item, makes you insane :p

  19. Mmm, not likely; did you get some usefull info on the the dummy in 3Ds Max?

    Kaurora still only handles the AuroraDlights and emitters, nothing else.

  24. Dang, Redrob... I was gutted to get back into that UVWmap... because I never used that Attach List command... So much for my superiour knowledge :lol:

     

    Alas, my older files of the saberhilts are all prior to UVWmapping.

    I can get quiete sloppy with my save files. :-S
