If you followed that tutorial, i'm assuming you used the replacer in MDLOps, which you don't need to do with gun models, only lightsabers. A plain read and write should suffice. ^_^

make a new document with a transparent background and paste your image on top. use the wand to select the background and hit delete. then save as png. simple.
