HIGH ON PIE 14

Things are going good now that I have that monstrocity of a chapter typed and out of the way. I'm finally over my jet lag, got my projects done, and am just going to relax and write for the rest of the week. School starts next Wed though . Fred (my dog) got into my bag of gummy bears. I use the sugar to keep me going while I type late at night, and he ate them all. Pig.

Funny story how I got my name actually. When I was 14 I went to a party. Well I love pie, so I started eating the pies that were there. (Yes I used to be quite the fatass, but I have since discovered the gym.) I don't know if you have ever gotten the "high" feeling after eating way too much food? Well I did. I joined the KOTOR forums on Bioware that same year. My friends, that were at the party, kept bringing up how I got "high" off pie. So when I was choosing a name for Bioware, I picked High On Pie then my age - 14. When I joined Lucas forums I decided to use the same name. Then I figured out that I could abreiviate and just say "HOP." A long rather dull story I know, but thats how I got my name. I assume you picked yours because Yuthura is your favorite character?

I like the invincible person idea too. But I'm introducing another character who will fill that role...don't want to give too much away.

Nobody is named Tim in my area, so I don't have that problem. Lucky! I wish I could go to college. But college is for people who have completed 4 years of High Scool in the U.S. Still, I go to private school, so you do have to pass a certainstandard to get in, so there are not too many dunderheads.

Yeah, K3 is not really going to get off the ground until all three of us are home. So ironic that you left the day I came back. UInfortunatly not all my friends go to my school...gonna be hard to get their numbers back...meh my other friends will have them I suppose.

Determination...more like guilt tripping to be honest. Everybody expected me to do it and kept going on about how great it was and blah blah blah...I juist was like O.K. fine I'll do it. Yes, its never somthing I'd do again, though I still plan to do England next summer, as some friends are going and it will be more like a European vacation for us than anything else. One friend, who is going, thought oxygen was a metal and asked me if food coloring is eatable...yeah I know, I have "special" friends.

Surprisingly decent? Does that mean good, or just okay? Lucky you...the language barrier in Spain prevented that from happening to me. Hehehe...those Russians are so jealous of your sexyness. Any way to push them off the volcano?

Yes, randomly shut. It was open at that time the previous week...everyhthing is like that here in Spain though. There a fiesta here every other day. Yes the partying Spanish people stereotype is true. I´m gonna wait till I get back to the states to do that, as the dollar is weak compared to the Euro.

The keyboards at this cafe suck so I didn´t finish typing the chapter,m but whatever it should be up soon anyway.

The more I read our K3 group, the more excited I become for it. I´m already planning the Dustil stuff in my head. If I´m insane for being in Spain for 5 weeks you are just as insane for writing three fics at once.

So how have you been lately?

Sophie's World is about this girl who gets mysterious letters from some stranger and through them he teaches her philosophy. Its basically a way not to make philosophy dull. (My teacher said, these days you get mysterious letters you call the cops and sue the guy for harrassment.

For AP Government he grades the homework by randomly selecting a person to answer one of the questions orally. There were 25 questions. I did 24 of them ...which one do I get called for - you guessed it the one I didn't do!

Haha, that happened to my friend too, a couple years ago when we were freshmen and some guy hit on her at the pool. (I was like okay, total creeper but whatever) She says I'm a freshman. He says freshman in college right? She says nope freshman in High school. (In the U.S. we start High school at 14 and college at 18. The guy was like twentry something.

Psychology sounds hard if you've never taken it before, like me. Good job in Media! My only good grade now is AP Environmental Science. Got me a 102% (brags ) Failing most other stuff...Spanish 4 Bleghh!

Beleive me, most of my food has been from McDonalds. I didn´t eat that much of it in the states, but here its like my bread of life.

At least there is a beach here...other than that, yeah, its kinda boring. The first week was fun but now I´m out of stuff to do...and if the teacher asks me if I understand what she is saying (with the air of explaining that 2 plus 2 = 4 - aargh, can´t find the plus sign on this keyboard!) I´m gonna smack her one. Yeah I dont know half of the symbols on here and there is only one shift key - yes thats right one- the other one...well if its on here I can´t find it.

England next summer should be much more enjoyable - plus Americans are not as hated as they are in Spain. So many dirty looks...

Well, I´m definitly writing for Dustil and Atton and Mission. Possibly Brianna if DY is willing to give her up- Forgot to ask...anyway, I´ll probably end up doing Jolee as well if nobody else will take him. Once we get passed these early stages of the fic I think it will run fairly smoothly- its gonna be awesome!

Who are you writing for anmd who do you want to write for?

Yeah 16 is a difficult age. Oh yeah the mid teen crisis: all my friends have had it...I suppose mine is not far off.

Haha...I have the general picture... I would not have a problem with this. I think Brianna should be there when the exile faces Atris. One question though- Afterwards, would she be able to return to Dantooine and join up with the Dustil/Mission plots? If not I´ll have to think about it. Most likely yes though...

Yeah I´ve enjoyed it, but I´m ready to come home. I think two weks would have been perfect...not 31 days (yes I actually counted)

I know what you mean. I prefer a quieter summer at home, only going out with friends for a few hours a few times a week. Yeah, look at the floodgate you opened with the K3 thing But just remember, you get credit for coming up with the idea in the first place. I think once we get the first chapter written, set the scene, things will go smoothly. It is a lot harder working in a group at first...I'm already enjoying it though.

No the girls were not nerds. I had semi-relationships with some of the American ones that I went to school with. But that was more hey we got drunk, lets make out in the corner. Not a real relationship...but what should I expect, its vacation fling. Meh, my spanish is not that great...

Well Dustil has not seen her since K1, not even a hologram. Since Mission is going to be like 20 here, obviously she -er- developed a lot since 14. Both physically and mentally. (Though the same personality.) Their meeting is going to be a Dustil sees her and is like whoa . Not a slobbering drool monkey mind you, but kind of surprised at how much she grew up. He'll feel a little awkwardish. I'm going to try to make him on the quiet side. She'll just treat him like she always has, as a friend, but he will have to get used to being around her. But secretly finds him...attractive...but not to the extent that he likes her...yet.

God, I'm gonna love writing this.

That sucks for you guys! Poor British kids. School in the U.S. is pretty lax comparted to Europe. Thats why I might do Cambridge for college. (university and college are the same here.)

Happens to me all the time. I don't know why sometimes ideas come, sometimes they don't...I wish I knew. A lot of times just watching TV drama gives me ideas, somtimes reading a new book does too...other than that...no idea. Strange how it works, eh?

No but I thought about it! Yeah it was not easy let me tell you. Sorry it took so long to get this back, my friend called me about dinner plands on Wed. She's quite the talker.

Well lets see...a bunch of my friends got wasted, they did not respond well to alcohol. I had to walk a few of them home...then again I had to be walked home once or twice. I got some TFP and K3 stuff done...we went to a Spanish amusement park which was a ride at your own risk kind of place...so many pirated DVDs there. But I got yo go to the beach every day. I went to the Gugenhiem Modren Art Museum...and I still prefer Rennaisance art. Had to meet the Spanish Department head today and I was approved for Hn. Spanish 4 so the trip was a success.

I have terrible jet lag though. It was a 9 hour flight and I had gone over 24 hours without sleep. I'm still rather tired...but happy.

Well, he does not only like her for her- erm- stuff, shall we say? It was just kind of a shock because he has been imagining her as a 14 year old for five years now, and to see that...well it made him more shy around her. But as the story progresses, it will go beyond simple physical attraction.

Sorry I missed ur last message Hmmm...well I like Harry, (at least I do in the books) but like Luna alot as well. Its hard to compare since Harry gets so much more focus than her...but yeah I think Luna is my favorite by a hair, followed by Harry than Dumbledore.

Actually its a fairly cheap cafe, only costing a Euro an hour, its really just that I only have time between writing, summer projects and all this Spain school work, I just don´t have time to come on for hours like in the US. But I come back the 16th so after that I´ll be on fairly often.

Since I get so little computer time, I prefer to post, rather than type up my fic. I´m still writing it though (I always use pencil and paper first) and that the important part. I´m several chapters ahead of my last TFP post and they should be up in fairly quick succession once I´m back in the states. Only 9 more days...

Yeah I know how the tired thing goes. I have the worst jet lag right now. I assume college over hear is like your university, but then again I really don't know.

I know college is going to be so different. I'm hoping I'll like it, I'm not ready to leave my high school friends. But your right, thats two years away...thank God.

I'm staying in touch with most of the people that went on my trip. They certainly are not my best friends or anything, but we plan to go out a few times. A lot of guys go for the shy girl and vice versa. But yeah, you need a guy who is not afraid to take charge once and awhile, you know? I unfortunatly have a thing for tough girls, which is not good when thay can probaly kick my ass. My last girlfriend knows Brasilian Jujitsu (sp). I think I'll go for someone a little less... you know. Currently single, with nobody in my sights. Go for it Burnseyy!
