  1. Nah, heres fine.

That's a bit absentminded of you... And I said you were intelligent. my classes don't start til the 8th, but I'm in on the 4th. Still don't know which bus to get.

  2. How could you not know when college started? were you tired?

  3. No, I'm sorry. I know there's a TSL one, somewhere on the internet, but not K1. You could search it on google... but I think if you played the game it'd be a bit easier. You can see the surroundings/what people look like/what people sound like... a script is just words.

And I get what you mean - if he started out super evil it'd be a bit strange lol. Why would the republic have hired him?!

I look forward to the start of the story. :^:

  4. Sounds good. It'll be interesting to see how you portray the characters.

Are you gonna start with "Revan" being on the dark side, or is he going to be convinced by someone/something?

  5. Whey!

Does that mean you'll be putting it up now? Or haven't you written the 'first chapter' yet?

  6. I'm fine, thanks. Redying my hair (red, still). I got 2 hours sleep, and wrote a bit more of QFR.

    You?

  7. Ooh cool. I was listening to Bon Jovi last night lol.

I like anything, really. Except talentless rap (some of it's alright) and that horrible sped up chipmunk music. *shudder*

    Ever written your own songs?

  8. I'm on deviantart now. :)
  9. sorry lol

I'm back on deviantart now if you want to continue talking there.

  10. The change is weird >_> I prefered the old forum.

And I don't really retreat from leisurely passtimes, unless I have a project to complete. I'll take breaks between them, too, which probably serves as a distraction, but that way, I'm not overwhelmed with work. This way I'm getting the most out of the present AND the future. :)

Of course, projects can also be done in the company of friends. Well, some people can pull that off. Last time I tried that, I was revising with my friend for the GCSEs... We revised for 30 minutes before we couldn't stand it anymore, and started talking/went to the park.

    :^:

  11. I know what you mean - sometimes I just want to get home and write my story, or play KOTOR or something. But when I'm in the classes I love, I just become emersed in them. The problem with overcoming flaws, when you're still in school/college/university, is there's no time to make the change. Or too much time to give something up. I bet it's the same in the working life, too. Adults certainly seem to stay the same when they hit 30+.

Maybe I'll be more distracted from work this year, than ever before. You never know what could happen, who could come into your life, and what new technology is released.

  12. At least you can face your flaws - a lot of people refuse to believe they have any! Vain *******.

And how can you know your ignorance if you're ignorant? :xp: Ignorance gets you so far, but it's like guessing... you might get a C on the exam, but if you'd studied properly, you could've got an A.

  13. If it helps, I'll let you know any weaknesses I display in front of others lol. Like being argumentative, always wanting to get the last word in, going with intuition rather than logic (if that's even a weakness), being sociable whilst also being withdrawn from typical social traits of others. (if that makes sense).

I've accepted them long ago, so they're not big issues to me.

  14. It's not like I'm a completely different person behind closed doors. I just don't feel the need to show my weaknesses to the people around me. I don't think my weaknesses are that bad - that's another part of why I gave up drinking (or getting drunk): when you're drunk you just let everything go, and let the world know who you are. It sort of exaggerated yourself... and that's worse than anything.

I probably won't get your character right in that other story, but it's a challenge. :)

  15. Ah... Well now it's been explained...

I'm not that modest am I? I mean I don't show off... Actually I used to get called a show off, by my best friend. But really, I just used to draw (in art) and people would crowd round giving it all "ohh, sophie you're a great drawer" (and then later on they would call me names... but that's besides the point). I wasn't showing off, at all!

You didn't want to know that, did you? lol.

Well if you think you can get my personality right, then I'm not stopping you. :)

  16. Yeah I've heard about it... it's not all over the news, but it's a big thing. I haven't really been watching the news, but I caught it saying it's just as bad as Hurricane Katrina (I think it was).

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans I felt terrible for them - apparently it's not even been fixed properly yet. And another one's coming to wreak havoc? I just hope it dies down before it causes too much damage.

  17. I'm not sure if I get what you want me to get... I do think you're a great writer, because it takes more than just detail to write a story... it takes intelligence, creativity, experience and emotion (that's a big'n). I don't have that much experience, and I struggle with the emotion side of it. I love writing, but I've got a lot to learn before I consider myself a great writer... since it's what I aspire to be.

It takes a lot more to compliment myself, than it does for me to compliment someone else. :^:

  18. Well if you're so sure, I look forward to this character being in the story. :)

I guess in some respects I am kind of like a Jedi, but in others I'm the complete opposite. Strange combination, but I'm definitely not wholeheartedly like a Jedi.

  19. It still hurts a bit, but compared to what it was like at the start, this is nothing. It tends to bleed every now and again. I have to keep it in for 12 weeks... that's twice as long as an ordinary piercing! & I don't know why I got it... spur of the moment y'know? lol.

You've got some great ideas for SiD. Once Revan's memories are back, you'll need this sort of stuff... and something tells me once Revan's memories are back there'll be a lot more drama. Strangely enough.

See, this is why I started reading SiD! A great writer with great ideas. :^:

  20. What do you mean by 'victims'? And did you already have this in mind, or was it just an idea that sprouted from me having you in a story? lol. I don't want to ruin your story or anything, by making you feel obliged to put an extra character in.

My stupid excuse for an anti-tragus is bleeding again. *rolls eyes*

  21. Yeah, a bit of an unpredictability, but not your typical 'his anger makes him unpredictable'... him overall makes him unpredictable. It'll be good to leave the readers guessing, too, what path he'll take. :)

Thanks for the encouragement! The influence gained bar just keeps going up :D

  22. Where did Haphood come from? o.0 and yeah, alright... sounds like a good challenge for you. But who would she be in the story? And how could she be part of the plot? You've already got an apprentice, a mentor, friends, enemies...

  23. Obviously that's a simplistic description of the actual character, because I can't be giving too much away, if I actually go ahead with it. He wouldn't be a complete rebel or anything, flying off the handle every two seconds. He'd be a bit sadistic, whilst still being on the 'good team'.

I wasn't trying to say Darren would constantly be trying to tell him the jedi code or anything... but rather that he'd be telling the guy his view of how the Force should be used - kind of the 'grey jedi' idea. But Darren isn't a Master, and the guy will know that...

I think it would be a nice addition to my story... it would definitely add to the near unemotional crew that I've assembled. This character could possibly be the most complicated out of the lot, besides the Exile himself.

  24. Ohh, what's your account name? Darth_Yuthura still? I haven't updated my stories on that site - thanks for reminding me!

And you don't have to put me in the story lol though it would be pretty cool...

  25. Yeah, I usually always go for sentinel on K1... but on K2, I like to try them all out. I hate consular, mind. I think scoundrel/guardian suits Revan, and scout/sentinel suits Exile. But that's just my opinion.

I've got a great idea for an OC in QFR. A Force Sensitive guy, aged about 15/16, who has anger issues, and can't seem to get the fact out of his head that the Jedi should be protecting others, and not chatting people up/making a joke of everything. It could bring some good comedy to the story, but obviously he won't be like that all the time. What do you think?
