  1. Handmaiden was English wasn't she? Mira's voice actress is australian, but I seriously thought she was American >_> As for the Exile - even he/she's American with their little "yes?" on K1 when you click back on them. Hmf.

My character on K1, now, is a Scoundrel. I just love the smuggler background, and the scoundrel traits. Plus it makes the romances with Carth or Bastila much more fitting. Scouts and Guardians just... aren't right, IMO. What do you usually pick?

  2. Well, a lot of them are English, buuut none of the rich, spoilt ones are American! That's what I meant. :) Then again not all... of whatever Juhani's accent belonged to - are cat people who like males AND females. So... ignore that. >.>

Plus they went to the extremes of the accents... I'm sure not all Americans sound like that, do they? ;)

  3. Thanks. My hair's a complete mess in that picture, though. I don't know how I survived a whole week without straighteners.

I thought it was hilarious how you asked Yuthura what the chances of Revan walking through the academy and not being recognised were... And you're just saying "ah, yes, I agree... very low chances."

Juhani gets annoyed at everything. She even gets annoyed when you're being nice! Though it's funny when you say "yes, that's right I AM divine!" :^: Never got tired of annoying characters in K1. K2 doesn't seem to have that same quality... The Exile's all 'noble' and 'fair'.

It's annoying how all the rich, stupid, spoilt brats on the game have English accents. >_>

  4. Upper Taris' Cantina. Y'know the one who says "ew your clothes are horrible. BTW, where are my drinks?" or something along those lines. The only reason I yell back, though, is to gain the extra XP points later when she sends thugs after you. :)

I always pick that "fat people always lie!" option  it's just amazing. Carth laughs at it, too, which is great. Bastila's just stupid and complains about it, though. At least she does on female - is she the same on male? i've forgotten.

I never react to that, I don't know why. Maybe I'm better at rising above her petty name-calling :xp:

  5. I have about 3 libraries near me, but they don't have SW books... I checked a while back, when I felt too nerdy to buy the books lol. I plan to use Amazon, and whilst I'm at it, sell a bunch of other old books I have.

Sounds like a plan. Either way, they're just sketches that I'll be posting, so they don't need that much work done on them. :)

I've switched to K1 now, male LS. I've just called that annoying girl in the Cantina on Taris a spoilt brat... it was great. :^:

  6. Maybe you just said all the right things lol... I tended just to make Bastila angrier, by accident, of course. Don't ask how. T_T

I'll upload the pictures when I have a scanner on me. I'll just tell you the colours I want, and it should be fine. That's IF my photoshop still doesn't want to work.

I've nearly finished Path of Destruction... I'll want to buy the sequel (Rule of Two) when I have the money, but it costs £20! For the hardback anyway... the unreleased paperback is only £8 >_> how is a hardback £12 more expensive?

  7. That would be an option... if my photoshop doesn't; work, then I'll hand them over to you. Thanks. :)

  8. I can't remember if Hanharr did anything - it was years ago when I had him. I just remember him being really annoying, and me wanting to get rid of him. I presume he would have cut scenes, but only if you waited a while. K1 has a better DS story, by far. But I hated having to kill Mission lol.

And it's a proven fact it's more difficult for female Revan to convince Bastila to turn back to the LS! I found it on wookieepedia, so hah.

Maybe your sister needs to take a trip to Africa, and see life for what it really is - unfair.

  9. I wish I could use photoshop. Last few times I've used it, it's gone black and white when I tried to add colour to drawings. I suppose black and white could work, but it's a pain... I'd rather have colour. I've changed Viren/Revan a bit... made him a little more handsome :^: I also drew Alayna, but that was purely for the sake of drawing something.

Maybe he thinks that if he scolds you, your sister won't feel like the victim (since she just got expelled) and brighten up, instead of being irrational and starting a business. She does realise that the credit crunch is exploiting businesses, doesn't she? Even if she does make it, she'll be in a lot of debt... and sooner or later, she'll have to pay it off. Though I wouldn't call that 'making it'.

You started a DS game on K1/2, yet? :xp: you really should. Bao-Dur's face goes all red and black... it's quite cool!

  10. When people get stressed they say things they don't mean ;) or is your dad always like that? I think all parents critisise their children (for lack of a better word). I certainly get it a lot... I think it's an annoying was of saying they care.

And at least you did the lawn! Where was you sister at the time?

I just drew head down to chest pictures of Bao-Dur, Mira and Viren. Sketched, obviously, and they might not be the actual thing we're drawing for K3, but I like 'em. :^:

  11. Alright - teach your sister who's boss!

I'll speak to you later... meanwhile I'll play KOTOR and write QFR. :)

  12. Yeah, the pay was good. But at the end of the day, I didn't like it. I'm not the type to put up with something I don't like... unless the pay is really good. & I mean better than £4.10.

My dads a good cook, my sister bakes... I took after my mum, being more artistic. I can cook schnitzel, but that's only because I love that meal, and I made myself learn it lol I've also learned a student meal which is cheap, and consists of condensed chicken soup, rice and chicken (pieces).

  13. Funny thing was, the employer knew that she was pregnant, and she also hated her mum. And she also knew about the thieving incident, but this particular employer didn't care. I think she just wanted as many staff as she could get.

I quit because it just wasn't my line of work. I can't even cook! I can't explain the resentment of carrying hot plates full of food around to greedy, self-obsessed party goers who don't even leave tips behind. My pay was £4.10, then.

  14. Yeah, it's very difficult to get a job these days. Even some people with degrees and whatnot can't get the one they want, or even get a job that pays good. I feel sorry for people like that - working all their childhood just to get nothing. I suppose I'd rather enjoy myself before it came to that, whilst still working to attain the highest grades.

I think that's what the problem is... they don't really care about who they're employing. It's just their best interest... "do they look sensible?" "are their grades high?" "do they have a clear voice?" it's like... okay, they're important, but it doesn't mean you can refuse someone a MINIMUM WAGE job because of them. Bah.

I was a waitress in my old job. But I wasn't at an ordinary restaurant - you had to book in advance for parties and such. I was clumsy, and even though I got on with the staff there (all round about my age) they were all really stereotypical yobs! One was a 16 year old girl and she'd been knocked up by a 25 year old! :eyepop and another guy had stolen a car, gotten put in prison for a week, and came out bragging about it.

lol. At least there was always a story to listen to.

  15. The easy way out is to go back to my old job, because the employer there said I was welcome back if I wanted to. But I hate that place.

I suppose you're right though... I wouldn't want to start term head on with a job, 7 subjects (basically) and four projects to attend to.

    :) Thanks.

  16. Ah I get you. But still, I'd like to be open to as many as possible, if I were in a life or death situation. :) hopefully that'll never happen, but hoping never meant it was true!

  17. I guess that's true... Still, they say that depending on how you're treated as a child, depends on how you grow up. But I'm not bitter or untrusting. I'm quite the opposite!

People like your sister, who know nothing of problems, fly off the handle when something bad does happen, and they can't handle it. They always need someone to help them get out of a situation, but when there's no one there, they don't do anything about it.

  18. I didn't get the job. :( she said that she'll be keeping hold of my CV in case they get more places. But that's basically just saying 'we've found someone better, but we'll be kind and give you something to look forward to anyway.'

I'm never going to get a job!

  19. I don't have a fear of needles, but I HATE the dentist. I never had any fillings, and then one day I was eating some mint and it shattered my tooth! Had to get a metal filling, and it's been a pain ever since. If you put a fork or tinfoil near the filling it sends painful stings down your jaw. *shudder* I'll never get a tattoo either.

So you must know your blood type then? I wish I knew mine. I'd like to know if I'm likely to die if I need a blood transfusion! But apparently my grandma has the rarest blood type, which doesn't fair well for me lol.

  20. She may be smart enough to see what's happening around her, and what she's doing, but the point is that she doesn't know how else to go about the situation. She isn't aware of other importances.

I find it odd how people take advantage of their parents situations. Without them, that person wouldn't exist. Without them, they would have died long ago, due to lack of care.

  21. Well, all the cool, quirky 'we need bright people with an interesting look' turned me down, because they only saw my CV. And if I say I love writing, reading and the media, I don't come across as a quirky, interesting person... or at least, not what they're looking for.

An anti-tragus is a really painful piercing, and it goes through the bone on the inside of your ear. I hate typical ear piercings that all girls get - I never had that done. I might be getting a new piercing, soon... maybe a scaffolding... but that looks a little too dramatic for my ear lol.

  22. Nope... I'm going to ignore my hatred for Hanharr, and just take the damn wookiee. :xp: So I'll have to kill my favourite character... that'll be fun! (not). I don't think I've had Hanharr except for my second playthrough, when I discovered I hated him. I've always been grey jedi until I got Mira (if I was playing DS), and then gone DS. But I've never gotten her past grey, on that.

Your sister would probably go crazy if your father said that to her! You don't want someome from the DS going crazy now, do you? :xp: though I guess, until she's forced into a situation where she has to work for herself, she'll never see the importance of it.

She's simply dependant, and it's too late for any drastic change, now.

  23. I think they take one look at my red hair and think "nope!" I'm glad I can hide my anti-tragus piercing, even if my hair has been cut shorter. If they saw that, they'd think I was just a typical teenager. Which I'm not!

I question things a lot... they say inquisitive minds at the best, but I've been told I'm too curious. So if I was in the army (that's laughable) I'd be pretty much in the same situation as you.

  24. Your sister sounds like a 13 year old spoilt brat. No offence. Isn't she at least grateful for what your father is doing? I don't pretend to be perfect, but I can at least notice when someone's helping me.

Disciple doesn't like me on this save... he keeps cringing at my character's grey face/hair. :¬: At least I've got Atton and Bao.

  25. It's so annoying! I hate two faced employers who act nice to your face, and the second there's a phone between you, they just ignore you. They're virtually all the same. If I was an employer I'd be at least kind enough to phone up the interviewees and tell them "sorry, you haven't got the job." urgh.

You'll be getting the internet sorted out though, won't you? Obviously there'll be limited time, for me, too, being at college until 5 most days, and having a job (if I actually get one!)

I have all the right talents/traits to work in such an easy job as sales assistant, but apparently that's not getting through to the employers.
