It is very good indeed! The acting is great, so are the scripts (based on a series of novels) - but most remarkable are the ships that are involved, because they are not using any version of CGI. As you are interested in the period, I would definitely recommend it!

You're right - I've more or less given up on the UN and Second World War threads, well at least until someone posts something new. It's becoming a copy-and-paste exercise.

Quite - poor thing...

The whole UN thread was a little absurd - as you know, an exaggeration from the get-go. And even when we show some of the aguments to be absurd, they persist. It makes it very difficult (and quite repetitive) to debate. I don't mind that sort of standpoint, as long as it is backed up and he is prepared to have a discussion!

I was amused that I was criticised for trotting out the same argument over and over without reading the other posts!
